Great heat radiators. Runs cool. All 24GB have been recognized immediately. Straightforward to set up. Runs at 1600MHz just as advertised. No fiddling close to with voltages or something--ran ideal appropriate out of the package. Glad I bought it! System: Asus P6X58D, 24GB DDR3, Core i7 920 None.

New construct, plugged 2 of these in...it just operates. Of course it shows up in the BIOS as 1333, but it's not the RAM's fault nor the Mobo's fault. It calls for a small tweak when you develop so you can run at spec. no biggie. This memory Overclocks wonderful if you want it to. I had it operating at 2000 no dilemma. I didn't leave it there since I like my laptop or computer parts to last a lengthy time. Heatsink. tsk-tsk-tsk. I knew this going in. I knew it had tall heatsinks. It induced me a minor inconvenience when putting in my scythe CPU cooler. Oh properly. I created it perform devoid of covering any RAM slots. It's stable, it appears tough, it can OC properly. If it blows, I will post yet again. But I think it will final for the life of this laptop or computer ƕ-eight years).

Quick ram and is a lot more than adequate for the average user. Is quickly picked up when on very first boot. None Everyone who plans on getting this ram requirements to make positive that they know how to set up it otherwise it won't pick up. it necessary a considerable amount of force to fit perfectly into the dim slot.

What can I say, I have six of these in a tri-channel configuration for 24GB or RAM. All adobe products and 3D apps load with room to spare. The value of course, 4GB modules are jacked up. I have these in a ASUS P658XE-D MB with a i7 980X and the speed got knocked down to 1066, you can't run the full 24GB at 1600 speed but I truly don't notice a difference from when I had them in 12GB config operating at 1600, appears just as rapid. Adobe premiere, Following Effects and photoshop all load in couple seconds and I don't have a SSD however but coming soon.

Looks cool and performs, but at decrease speed (DDR3 1333). As mentioned in the pros section, it only works for me at a decrease speed, no matter what I tried. If I enable intel XML the pc wont post, giving me short rapid beeps and resetting at default settings. If I attempt to set the speed myself and enhance the voltage it does the identical factor. Only time I got a trusted boot was when I kept it at default settings. It could be that I don't know how to precisely set it in bios (I've forgotten by now, I was trying to do this when I first got it a month ago, I'm fairly positive I was carrying out it proper), or I consider my motherboard may well not be compatible with running it at it's max speed (didn't check compatibility). I gave up soon after a day meaning to get back to it, but given that I don't really mind operating it at a lower speed I just left it. Still I took off an egg due to the fact it really should be as straightforward as enabling XML, since my motherboard specifications say it can take care of DDR3 1600. I have a Gigabyte GA-P43T-ES3G. Manufacturer Response:.Dear ConsumerThank you for your G.Ability obtain and review. We are sorry to hear you are unable to get this memory working to speed. With LGA 775 platforms, you will need to make positive you CPU FSB is overclocked to 1600MHz in order to operate the memory at DDR3-1600. Regrettably the XMP Profile will not automatically do this for you, only in the newer LGA 1155, 1156, and such platforms. If you want to keep away from overclocking and operate at DDR3-1333, decrease the timings to 8-eight-8-24, and it should perform just as rapid as DDR3-1600 CL9. This memory can perform well if set accurately. Must you require further help, please don't hesitate to get in touch with our technical support department straight. Smaller heatsink, which is excellent mainly because of that giant AMD fan/sink. Posted and recognized all 8GB Ɣx2) with no issue. Blazing rapidly, Windows 7 booted up in about 12 seconds. I'm feeling Really future proof correct now. Got ฤ off due to a excellent promotion! None so far. Haven't decided on whether or not to overclock. May just leave nicely enough alone!

Functions as expected as far as ram goes. I put this on a Gigabyte mobo with a AMD x4 CPU and a ZALMAN CNPS10X Performa CPU cooler. This ram doesn't get in the way of the cooler itself but it does get in the way of the fan. It is about a 1ǚ inch to tall due to the fact of the heat sink on the ram. This will work fine in the two outer slots but you require low profile for the two inner slots. Just wanted to mention in situation a person runs into the similar challenge. Might want to be cautious and analysis clearances if you have a large CPU cooler to make certain it doesn't get to close. I just moved my a single stick to the outer slots. Operates fine there.

Great memory performance for a great price tag. I have a total of 6 of these sticks in my new personal computer providing me a total of 24GB of RAM - Windows 7 efficiency is excellent. All I need to have to do now is move over to a SSD tough drive. They don't come in a color other than red but who cares... GSkill has actually made strides in providing overall performance for low rates. I wasn't impressed with RAM purchased several years ago but immediately after reading critiques and now becoming the owner of these Ripjaws 4GB sticks, I'm a believer.

Its ram and 4 gb. Ram is ram actually. As soon as you overclock your method on the other hand would be nice to see your ram do one thing, With the old two gig sticks I had the ram speed would fluctuate. Ram speed stays at 1333 no mater what I do in the BIos Settings. 16GB in four pieces, posted all 16 initial boot definitely no complications! So far have chased my i5 up to 4GHz and beyond, seems to handle overclocking incredibly nicely! Only been capable been capable to test about 5GB worth at a time... could have gotten a small excited at the wonderful price! As others have mentioned the pictures right here don't look practically as great as these DIMMS do in person. Oooh shiny!
