Use them on a z97 board with i7 CPU. Manually set the timings to CL 9-10-9-28 at 1866mhz with 1.5 volt. They are very stable (I used for a month). Awesome red color heat sink design, great match to my motherboard.

Easy to installdoes not get hot and handles 1866 well.Looks very good with matching colour parts.Need to remember to up the clock speeds in the BIOS and continue to check BIOS after every bios update  since it resets the RAM back to 1600mhz.

Your standard RAM with heatsink, runs stable with slight overclock and perfect for a regular use PC. Only complaint is the tallness hits my CPU fan, so I had to move them to the outer slots.

I bought this for a new build, looking for some slight improvement over typical DD3 1600. I have not noticed any meaningful difference in performance. The price was competitive with other DDR3 1600.Otherwise, I have not had problems using this with a Z87 board and an i7-4770K.It looks good and works well at a good price. The only minor complaint I can muster is that it seems only the red colour is common. While I love red, it doesn't match my motherboard this time.

I got these on sale during Christmas. They were the cheapest and fastest 8gb ram pair I could find. Have not used any G.Skill products before so hope these dont disapoint down the road!

GSkill says this stuff is optimized for Sandy Bridge & P67 motherboards so, combined with a short-term price tag drop, it seemed like a excellent fit for a P67/i5-2500 combo (obviously). I have not been disappointed, the bright red sticks look great and have performed flawlessly at their rated speeds. This company knows how to make RAM sing and dance and it shows. Their website is very well organized as well so it's easy to discover your exact product and suggested settings. GSkill is a Taiwanese organization so going to their website for recommended settings/tweaking can be...fascinating. Whoever does their translating still demands some work so it can take a handful of rereads to figure out what GSkill is truly saying you must do. Regardless, they know their stuff so after you figure what they're saying, no big deal. Defaulted at 9-9-9-28 and 1600 rather of 9-10-9-28 and 1866 on an MSI motherboard, so had to tweak that manually and enable XMP. Took possibly a minute, dunno if they default closer to the encouraged numbers on other motherboard brands. Using:Intel i5-2500 Sandy BridgeMSI P67A-G45 (B3)eVGA GTX460 1 GB SSC+and certainly these redhead twins, 2x4 GB DDR3 1866 (PC3 14900) GSkill RAM

I bought four sticks of this ram when I was building my rig and it ran fine for a while until one day my wife mentioned that the computer doesn't want to start.. Went in there, and sure enough, it was restarting every 3 seconds or so.. I opened the tower to find the red light indicator on my motherboard pointing at a problem with the memeory.. After some trial and error I discovered that one of the sticks went and so as I took it out the computer boots fine. Thankfully, the mobo is fine but I'm very disappointed in this ram, never had a stick die on me within 5 months of use. I kind of expected more from GSkill.

Great Cost for ram that runs these speeds on so tiny voltage. Set ram at factory timings, have under no circumstances looked back. My final 2 sets of ram that i purchased had been G.Skill. I couldn't be happier with their ram, they are a single of the finest memory companies in the enterprise. none Get this memory, you will not be sorry.

Rapid, xmp profile, overclockable None Delete to get into EUFI bios on startap, Sophisticated Settings, AI tweeker, Memory to manual, Chose XMP profile and all is set to run at rated speeds.

Works at rated speed and decrease speed flawlessly, my Asus mobo loves this ram, effortless to perform with. Had OCZ 1600 4GB and a single stick died and had continual prob with the memory. This memory fired suitable up and hasn't given me any difficulties because. Nice memory size and speed for the cash. Value, althou I got this with promo so was nice. Asus P8P67 Deluxei7 2600k

Booted up on very first try! XMP profile performs completely with my Asus Sabertooth P67 motherboard. On Win7, gets 7.9ǝ.9 rating. None - Can I have an additional pair NewEgg? :) Operating at rated 1866 flawlessly, but was defaulted to 1333 till XMP profile chosen.Been a previous Corsair Dominator owner for all these years, but decided to give these a try. These G.Ability sets run the same, or greater. Haven't had a likelihood to truly beat em up with gaming however.

Rapid and stable. Can be a little tricky to work with AMD Purchased this by mistake. I intended on receiving 16 gigs of RAM but I read following acquiring this was designed for Intel hardware. Thought about returning it, but decided to try to make it work. Set the timings manually due to the fact when on auto, all the timings had been way off. Had to up the voltage to 1.6-1.65 to retain it stable. rapidly does anything i ask of it. got it on sale. none worked strait out of package no doa's i commonly go with corsair ram was a bit nervous about going away from them and using these. but they've been solid and i would possibly consider acquiring some more g skill ram in the future
