G.SKILL RipjawsX F3-1866C9D-16GXM 16GB 2X8GB DDR3-1866 CL9 240PIN 1.5V Dual Channel Memory Kit
Cons:None
Pros:Decent speed, timings, 1.5v, Comment:
This is a decent 16gb set of memory. Was roughly the same price as 1333 or 1600mhz stuff, so figured I'd opt for this instead. The bump in speed really doesn't make that much of a different though, unless you have an AMD chip like the A10-7850K, in which case I'd try and go with even faster memory than this... |

G.SKILL RipjawsX F3-1866C9D-16GXM 16GB 2X8GB DDR3-1866 CL9 240PIN 1.5V Dual Channel Memory Kit
Cons:None that I can think of right now.
Pros:Quality high speed ram. Low voltage (1.5v).Cool design and excellent warranty Comment:
Very happy with this kit. It runs at the advertised speed without any issues on my Biostar TA970 motherboard with an AMD 8350 CPU. G.skill never let me down so far so I really recommend it! |
The Ripjaws X series although an older model features similar boost capabilities as many recently released models. Very reliable brand company and lifetime warranty, also it has very fast latency for a 1866Mhz base clocked DDR3, [ 9-10-9-28 2N ]. I find the 1866Mhz just at the right spot between 1600 and 2133. Also, this model is integrated to feature better performance for gaming and it is great for overclocking, the blue heat sink is also glossy smooth finished.Lastly this 16gb dual channel setup should be more than enough for all the gaming needs until DDR4 becomes more popular and transition itself into more motherboards.
