G.SKILL Sniper F3-1866C9D-16GSR 16GB 2X8GB DDR3-1866 CL9 240PIN 1.5V Dual Channel Memory Kit
Cons:none
Pros:XMP profile (easy configuration). Good performance/capacity/price ratio. relatively Low profile. Run a 1.5 volt Comment:
it's a good kit and the price is good. It's easy to configure them easily. they are not too high so if you have a big heatsink or a tight case, it will not cause you problem like all the very high heatsink on others memory kits. Also, they run fast a 1.5 volt. Always buy memory that run at official voltage. If a memory cannot handle their timming at the default voltage, its because they use cheaper/weaker memory chips. |

Currently running these badboys in an AMD FX-8320 system. Just entered the RAM speed manually into the bios and the system booted up fine first try.Rock solid 4 months in. G.Skill RAM has yet to fail me. |

G.SKILL Sniper F3-1866C9D-16GSR 16GB 2X8GB DDR3-1866 CL9 240PIN 1.5V Dual Channel Memory Kit
Cons:none so far
Pros:Great ram, fast and low timings Comment:
This set is great for those running DLNA services (esp for the samsung TV's) The program eats up ram like none other when it comes to reindexing the database. Got these to replace my 8GB set (2x4GB) and the timings did not need to be adjusted at all. Detection of course is not accurate and timings do need to be set manually via the bios. |
Did not set timings and speed manually, just loaded xmp profile. Passed memtest before and after xmp profile. 4.4ghz OC 4770k passed stress test with these in xmp profile although had to increase cpu voltage by 0.01v.
