THE 855 PERFORMS WELL AND DOES WHAT IT'S SUPPOSED TO DO. WITH THE POSTAL CODE YOU'LL GET ANYWHERE YOU WANT TO GO. THE ONLY REASON I'M NOT GIVING IT A 5 IS THE FRENCH LANGUAGE PROGRAM. GUYS ..... IT STINKS. IT IS SO BAD IT'S ALMOST FUNNY. WHOEVER DOES THOSE TRANSLATIONS MUST BE STILL IN 3RD GRADE. ALSO MAKE AN ITINARY WHEN YOU'RE GOING SOMEWHERE OTHERWISE YOU'LL END UP ON ROADS FOR VTT.

This product is ok but does not do all of the things as advertised, It is way out of date on lane change & the voice feature does not work with any of our voices except occasionally. I think I may have been sent the wrong unit.

This is an excellent GPS. I have read many reviews on this and other units and the biggest cmmplaint was the timing of the announcement of a turn or exit. Not this unit, plenty of advance notice. It's accurracy is impressive in comparison. I diliberately would try to confuse it but didn't succeed. (i did confuse a friends unit once ... that was funny). There are a couple of features that would have been a great compliment to this ... but that might be upgradable through firmware. Did all the updates first before using this. Great product.

I love my new Garmin. It works great in big cities where multiple lanes and ramps can get tricky. Only problem is that you cannot turn it off. You need to pull the battery if you want to keep it charged between trips. It also does not come with an AC adapter so if you don't pull the battery and it is dead, you have to take it out to your car to plan your trip. No thrilled with that since I use my computer to assist me with addresses and downloads.

This GPS is so easy to use. It also has the best bang for your buck.
