GIGABYTE GA-890XA-UD3 ATX AMD Motherboard
Cons:
priced a little high, nb heatsink becomes loose easily, bios does not offer x6 core control atm
Pros: 790x nb with 850 sb, layout, ultra durable branding, xfire, features Comment:
A solid board but would possibly purchase the 790x with usb 3 and sata 3 next time and it is much cheaper for similar features.1 of 3 boards that came was faulty and has been rma'd, would not get past post without freezing, but that stuff happens. 2 boards run exceptionally well with the X6 1090T, and although the bios could improve its feature set, amd overdrive does a good job of overclocking. Layout with gigabyte as usual is top notch and the installation was a breeze. Running 4 sticks of 2gb G.Skill ram at rated 9-9-9-24 1600mhz speeds with no issues.Great board but should be a little cheaper imo with the ud5 not very much more. |
Highly recommend this MB for mid users. Very flexible
