GIGABYTE GA-EX58-UD5 ATX Intel Motherboard
Cons:- Colour Scheme
Pros:- Great Layout- High Quality Build- Great BIOS Support- Wonderful Overclocking Comment:
I bought this board to replace a Intel Smackover DX58SO. This board is much much better than the DX58SO. The BIOS is much much better and is constantly updated. This board overclocks great, I can get my FSB up to about 212 in the BIOS before I cannot boot into windows. It does 3 Way SLI or CrossFire, a gamers dream. It is also of very high quality. I would recommend this board to any other I7 owners out there. |

GIGABYTE GA-EX58-UD5 ATX Intel Motherboard
Cons:-Price is way to expensive-Not enough room between the express x16 slots
Pros:-Good Looking-6 slots for ddr3 ram well needed because the 3 gig sticks have not come out yet Comment:
This is a good board i would but again but the price is just a little to much and there is not enough room between the express x16 graphecs slots my gpu covers one of the expanshion card slots and i cand put a nother gpu in the 2nd express x16 slot i do have a huge graphecs card but still should not covers 2 slots. I like how there is 6 slots for ddr3 ram but i only jave 3x2 gig sticks of ram other wse good board and looks great with my gamers case |

GIGABYTE GA-EX58-UD5 ATX Intel Motherboard
Cons:DOA - Board would not boot under any conditions - would get power but never post.
Pros:Cannot say that there are any strengths. Comment:
Simply put, this board was DOA. At first, thought it was the default bios version and my CPU - replaced my CPU from D0 to C0 - turns out it was not. Tried multiple power, CPU's, removed everything systematically, checked for bent pins... nothing. This is REALLY hard for me now, I have to RMA. |

GIGABYTE GA-EX58-UD5 ATX Intel Motherboard
Cons:squeaking noice when c1e enhanced halt state
Pros:Easy RAID0 Setup using onboard fakeraid controller Comment:
this was a good board for us with an easy raid0 setup for a little extra performance. high quality board for one of our i7 systems.we noticed some squeaking noise coming from our speakers so we had to turn off c1e enhanced halt state in the bios. i guess the voltage regulators or coils are emi-noisy or something when the power draw changes. |

GIGABYTE GA-EX58-UD5 ATX Intel Motherboard
Cons:- price
Pros:- tons of features- lots of SATA Comment:
A great performance motherboard. Tons of features. Great placement for like SATA (right angles) and 3 PCIe and the chipset heatsink is flat to fit them. Only weird thing is the Clear CMOS button is on the back. Might accidentally push it when putting the USB. Didn't had the "cold boot" issue or the noise issue, I been hearing about in forums. |

GIGABYTE GA-EX58-UD5 ATX Intel Motherboard
Cons:Squealing/whining noise
Pros:Lower price than comparably spec'ed motherboards Comment:
Purchased this motherboard due to the awesome number of features compared to other motherboards in its categories (asus p6t deluxe v2 is something i heavily considered). Many reviewers rated this board highly and I agree. My one complaint is that it makes some squealing/whining noise at stock speeds, but that went away when i overclocked to 3.2 GHz on my i7 920 |

GIGABYTE GA-EX58-UD5 ATX Intel Motherboard
Cons:colors
Pros:price, performance Comment:
This is one of the best motherboard you can buy. Perfomance wise this board is easily comparable with the Evga Classified and the Asus Rampage at a fraction of the price. If you don't mind the colors, get this board. |

GIGABYTE GA-EX58-UD5 ATX Intel Motherboard
Cons:Expensive (like most other X58 motherboards)
Pros:Overclocker FriendlyStableRuns fairly cool Comment:
This board burned a larger hold in my wallet than I had hoped, but overall it was worth it. This board runs pretty cool and is very friendly to overclockers once you figure out how to go about overclocking an i7 chip. I would recommend this board to anyone that can afford it. |

GIGABYTE GA-EX58-UD5 ATX Intel Motherboard
Cons:not too sure about the reliability for games.
Pros:good pci-e layout , good overclocker, 10 sata. LED lights are great Comment:
The ex58-ud5 motherboard has a friendly bios setup, make sure to enable usb keyboard & mouse on bios before booting OS. With a core i7 920, games performs nicely. Some minor problems occur when playing old games in which on board sound freezes 4 a few seconds. |
