GIGABYTE GA-H55N-USB3 Mini ITX Intel Motherboard
Cons:
their mir system is far from being perfect
Pros: nice layout.optical audio out Comment:
I use this motherboard for an htpc. fits perfectly in a Q07. be careful what king of cooler you are choosing. There is some component that might get in the way of a backplate. 6 usd post is not that much and there is only 1 header on the board. |

GIGABYTE GA-H55N-USB3 Mini ITX Intel Motherboard
Cons:
-Socket close to PCI-E making aftermarket low profile heatsinks hard to find.
Pros: +Small+Fast+USB 3.0+Low power consumption Comment:
Got this just out of nowhere to replace my MCE system. It uses less power yet is loads faster. This one can actually game thanks to its 5770. My only complaint would be the cpu socket is very close to the pci-e slot. This makes finding a nice low profile after market heatsink harder to find. For now, i have my e6600 stock heatsink bolted on(cooler and quieter then the I5 one). |

GIGABYTE GA-H55N-USB3 Mini ITX Intel Motherboard
Cons:
cpu socket - pcie slot - RAM slot arrangement (problem with all H55 mobo)not many usb sockets
Pros: m-ITX with USB3.0 Comment:
Running i5 750 with 5870 on this mobo and it has been very solid. USB3.0 is just future proof, but need to install drivers in Windows in order to use the USB3.0 sockets.Wish there were more usb sockets on back pannel. Only 6 including the 3.0 ones.Overall, very satisfied. |

GIGABYTE GA-H55N-USB3 Mini ITX Intel Motherboard
Cons:
some might need more SATA ports or Wi-Fi
Pros: ATX connector placement Comment:
Overall, it's a good and solid motherboard. It has lots of options in BIOS, but I do not OC, so ...Also, I do not use RAID, so I do not miss it.Wi-Fi could have been nice, but my HTPC is right next to my router, so running a cable is not a problem to me.I like the ATX connector placed on the side, not right next to the RAM like Zotac's or DG45FC from Intel. I used them both and the cables were pushing against the RAM or the back of the slim optical drive SATA adapter. My build involves a slim optical drive and a Compucase ITX-200B case, so the CPU fan clearance was never an issue (I'm using the stock cooler from i3-530).Have fun with your new build :) |

GIGABYTE GA-H55N-USB3 Mini ITX Intel Motherboard
Cons:
-Only 4 SATA ports (other H55 boards have 6)-Chipset cooler is kind of weak
Pros: -Excellent layout-HDMI, DVI-D and VGA-Tons of features-Full PCI-E 2.0 x16 slot-Ultra Durable Line Comment:
This is a great board, I'm using it with a Core i3 in the Apex MI-008. Clearance around the RAM was a little tight for the CPU cooler however this was to be expected. The Ultra Durable line really sealed this one for me and I have no regrets. The features are excellent (USB3 and eSata for storage expansion) and is very nice to work with.Unfortunately the chipset cooler isn't very good (it's got plenty of airflow). It's idling around 45C-49C which is kind of alarming for me, I will likely replace the cooler with something from Zalman or get an active low-profile cooler.Overall this board is highly recommended for Mini-ITX builds. The SATA is lacking but everything overwhelming makes up for that. |

GIGABYTE GA-H55N-USB3 Mini ITX Intel Motherboard
Cons:
NONE
Pros: Awesome mobo, supports i7. see summary Comment:
I bought this to replace an intel DH57JG which I was having problems with. I was having lots of image tearing, as soon as I installed this, the problem was gone. I love this mobo because it will let me upgrade cpu if I ever wanna do it. The bios also has a lot more features then the DH57JG (imo). I wouldnt get the DFI since rma and supports is probably non-existant at this point since they stopped making LP mobos. Therefore I would consider this to pretty much be the best Mini-ITX LGA1156 mobo you can buy. |
was originally building i3-540 micro-ATX HTPC for my neighbor, but his entertainment unit was not deep enough for even the shortest micro atx cases. I found this ITX size 1156 board and that really opened the options to run a smaller case. This little board is fully optioned, you can OC just as you would with a micro atx board, run 2 sticks of ram, run a video card (if desired).Overall, very happy with the board for this build, would recommend this board to anyone looking to build a small form pc with (mostly) current CPU's.
