GIGABYTE GA-MA770T-UD3P ATX AMD Motherboard
Cons:Some BIOS settings do not take affect when changed. Might be error on my part but unsure. No e-SATA port.
Pros:Price, performance, BIOS overclocking options. Comment:
Have this paired with a Athlon II 620, A-DATA 2x2GB DDR3 and a Xigmatek S1283 cooler in a Antec ThreeHundred case. The cooler partially blocks two ram slots so only low profile RAM will fit in there. Lots of BIOS options for those who want to overclock. I got a pretty good overclock off my processor using this mobo. It also detected my RAM without issue (including proper timings). Definitely a good buy. |

GIGABYTE GA-MA770T-UD3P ATX AMD Motherboard
Cons:not much room around processor for a cooler.
Pros:Stable, not pricey Comment:
Unlocked a AMD 720BE with this board, The PCI slot and memory are really close to the CPU so the cooler I got (AeroCool DCC-C900 LGA775) could only be mounted with the fan oriented to the back of the motherboard (by connectors) blowing air toward the memory cards. BIOS "optimized" settings did not correctly set memory speeds. |

GIGABYTE GA-MA770T-UD3P ATX AMD Motherboard
Cons:Requires a newer PSU, single IDE connector is awkward to connect
Pros:Price, performance, BIOS is decent, lots of onboard USB plugs, firewire plugs, and has digital audio out plugs, plenty of SATA2 connectors. Comment:
Bought this as an upgrade board with Phenom II chip. It is narrower than a standard atx board, however, it's of proper length, and it's not really cramped compared to larger boards. The board gave me 2 headaches. First, my old 400w PSU did not have the necessary plugs/power to run the board, so I had to get a new one. Not the end of the world, but upgraders be aware of this. I imagine that this is the case for most newer boards.Secondly, the IDE connector is awkwardly placed (sideways). Plug in your IDE cable (if you're using old school hdds or optical drives) before mounting the board to the system. |

GIGABYTE GA-MA770T-UD3P ATX AMD Motherboard
Cons:Cheap quality materials, smallar than regular ATX MB
Pros:Cheap after MIR Comment:
I auctual purchased the Gigabyte GA-MA770T-UD3P ATX thinking it was the Gigabyte GA-MA770T-UD3 ATX . This will not support any Phemon Q4 chips only the newer Phemon II, another money grab. As I said this was a total mistake.. Only supports single video card, everything is so compressed to fit this smaller board, not a gaming board, luck to get a stock heatsink on this board. |

GIGABYTE GA-MA770T-UD3P ATX AMD Motherboard
Cons:-Only 1 PCI-E16 Slot-Supports DDR3 Only
Pros:-Inexpensive-AM3-Great budget board Comment:
This is a great budget board for those who want to do some mild overclocking and only need 1 video card. I have a Phenom 955 and a GTX 275 on this board. No problems so far. Definitely get this one if you're looking for a cheap effective board. This review was modfied by poster @ 09-07-09 12:52 AM |

GIGABYTE GA-MA770T-UD3P ATX AMD Motherboard
Cons:Northbridge heatsink is quite loose, CPU fan + Case fan + 4-pin CPU power are placed in inconvenient locations
Pros:Good quality board at a good price Comment:
I bought this with my AMD Athlon II X2 250. Now I was impressed with the build quality for this price....well...almost. Until when I touched the Northbridge heatsink, I thought the thing was about to dislocate from the motherboard...but its quite loose. The connectors listed on the weaknesses were badly placed. Having the rear case fan connector so close to the fan itself can cause a bit of problem. CPU fan...well...it ain't too bad, but they have so many other places to put. 4-pin CPU power connector is placed at such an awkward place that your cable can touch your video card.Other than that, the quality of this motherboard is amazingly good for this price. |

GIGABYTE GA-MA770T-UD3P ATX AMD Motherboard
Cons:no heatsink for mosfet
Pros:cheap solid Comment:
I can't even believe this board selling for 77 bucks, which is solid and fast as a 790X board, but 50 bucks cheaper. The main difference is that it only provides one pci-e 16x, not for crossfire. |
Very impressed with this board. Provides solid performance for the price point. I would buy this board again for any AM3 system I was going to build. Great support for RAM too.
