GIGABYTE GA-MA785G-UD3H ATX AMD Motherboard
Cons:The bios will need updating out of the Box.
Pros:Product works very well, with phenom II X2 black edition 550 Comment:
So far so good, I've all way's been a Asus buyer thought I would try this out. It's working flawlessly the AMD Phenom II X2 Black edition runs great I've unlocked the other cores and it's crazy fast over clocked to 3250 MHZ and it's very stable run's multiple programs all at the same time no lag. It does need a CPU heatsink stock one runs at 45 to 50 degrees I chose a Coolermaster 212 and runs at 34 degrees. Overall this is a good board for the money, I'm very happy. |

GIGABYTE GA-MA785G-UD3H ATX AMD Motherboard
Cons:- no 7.1 LPCM audio for those that care
Pros:- decently priced board that unlocks Phenom II x2 550- decent integrated video Comment:
- Decent price for a board that's capable of unlocking cores on the Phenom II x2 550 although it does depend on your CPU- a lot of inaccurate info in "professional" reviews about it's audio capabilities and hybrid crossfire possibilities with discrete HD4000 series graphics cards; I'm still relying on the integrated so I don't know but I would like it if it did so I'd have a much better future upgrade option, but that's not all that relevant right now |
Bought this for a Ubuntu 9.10 box all the onboard devices were detected right out of the box. I wanted to build a cheap PC but paid a little more for this motherboard so that I will have a good range of future upgrade options.I would definitely recommend this board to others.
