This is a great board that supports SATA and USB 3 for a cheap price. I mainly bought it because it was fully Hackintoshable but it runs Windows 7 pretty well too. Its very customizable with plenty of slots.One thing I really love are all the Gigabyte features. One I really love is the 2x increased speeds of charging time for iPod devices.My bios was F9

This is a great motherboard and includes nice USB 3.0 ports. However, if you want to use a USB3.0 device, make sure you don't use crossfire or SLi as this motherboard will reroute the juice from both PCI-E slots.

Overall an excellent motherboard with great performance and little flaws. Perfect for the casual user as it supports i5 and i7 socket 1156 cpu or a gamer that does not plan on going Crossfire with their video cards. The board supports USB3.0 and SATA 3 compliant devices so it is future proof when those devices start becoming more common.

This motherboard has the P55 chipset, so for the general user and even the casual gamer it does what it's supposed to do very well. The problem is that if you try to push this board it might not react too well to excessive stress.I had to RMA this board because something suddenly blew out and the computer wouldn't even post after that. Now that I think about it though, I may have just been unlucky with the board, as its generally received good reviews and high overclockability from other people. Just be careful not to push it too hard as it lacks the proper cooling pieces to really save the board if it overheats.Pricewise, though, it is one of the cheapest P55 boards I could find, and gigabyte should be a pretty reliable brand.

It's a great buy if you plan on doing mild overclocks in a case that has no window. The blue PCB mixed with my noctua fans make my computer's inside look like barf.

I use this with the i5 750 with 4gb of RAM and 5850 radeon video card. I have 2 ssd's in raid 0 and 2 sata hdd's. I have had no problems so far. Easy installation.

Got this motherboard recently at a great price. It has a lot of features and I was able to overclock my Intel core i5 750 quite easily. Everything seems to be running stable. Too bad when you use SATA3 or USB3.0,the PCI Express slot gets crippled.

Built the system with i5 750 and OCZ 4GB DDR3 PC3-10666. Did not try to overclock yet. No problems with the mobo at the moment.

Got this with the i5 750 combo and it's an inexpensive and as advertised mobo. It doesn't have e-sata but you can purchase a PCI card separately.Also, i have heard that this mobo can take the i5 to 4ghz stable. No big cons so far.

Great board, great price, would have preferred some more OC features in the bios and a few more Sata cables, why do we need IDE?

Great Motherboard. Fully featured yet more affordable than other Socket 1156 Motherboards. I had no problem overclocking my Core i5 750 to 3.8 GHz. USB 3.0 support is nice for the future as there are not many USB 3.0 devices available yet.

Built a system with i5-750 and Cosair XMS3 1600c9 2x2GB memory and the system was unstable until I increased the Dram voltage to 1.64 and the QPI to 1.21. The motherboard still emits a annoying single beep apparently at random times. Could be a BIOS & memory incompatibility.

I should have looked closer and that is my fault. There are a ton of USB ports and a good number of SATA ports. But not one 1394 Firewire port. Nor is there a board connection to add them on later.

Great motherboard if the price is right. It pretty much has everything else that other manufacturers are offering for the price. Did not run into any installation problems with Core i5 CPU.USB 3.0 support is great for future proofing.

I tried a mild overclock with this board, (160x multiplier with and i860) and the board died! twice! That's right, not the overclock failing, but two boards packed it in. They both suffered what appeared to be a short in the voltage regulator circuitry (board shut down the power supply immediately). After the 2nd died I exchanged for a P55A-UD4P using the exact same BIOS settings and it has run flawlessly.

Decent board and feature set for budget i5 build. Kinda weird that using usb3/sata3 cripples the pcie slots for the graphics cards and makes you wonder why they put it there.It gets the job done, but nothing stellar about it really

Fabulous combination of features and a good-looking motherboard, too. Installed with 2 pairs of 2GB Kingston DDR3 1600 RAM (8GB total) a few days ago, and no problems at all. I was surprised that there is no on-board video, so I picked up a Visiontek Radeon HD card at BB. I have more experience now :-) so I'll know in the future. Win 7-64, 1 TB Hitachi SATA Deskstar plus an old 80GB WD IDE drive, 600W CoolerMaster modular PS in an old mid-tower case. No problems except scrounging up standoffs to mount the motherboard in the case. I also installed Office 2007 Professional (32 bit) without a hiccup. I like GigaByte.

got the board bundle with a i5 750, for a reasonable pricei haven't check but i assume the board has the famous foxconn socket, which can run into an issue when overclocking,but i'm not really worried because there is no plan of doing a huge overclockbut still it is not acceptable to see your cpu not making proper contact with the board
