GIGABYTE GA-X58A-UD3R ATX Intel Motherboard
Cons: None that I can think of

Pros: Sata3Both SLI and crossfire
Comment:
Motherboard is really easy to hook up. Sata3 is very good. I like having both SLI and Crossfire on one board. Boots up no problem. And comes with very easy and simple OC program

GIGABYTE GA-X58A-UD3R ATX Intel Motherboard
Cons:None that I'm aware of

Pros:Solid performance, build quality, and feature rich
Comment:
Really digging this board. Barely getting into it but I have to say it has given me a very high degree of confidence out of the box. The NCIX staff have been great - system build was awesome and I could not be any happier. I can't wait to fully vet this thing but for worry free performance and headroom to boot - ya gotta love this winner. Gigabyte FTW!

GIGABYTE GA-X58A-UD3R ATX Intel Motherboard
Cons:LED's on board are impossible to read

Pros:Excellent QualitySo Many FeaturesInexpensive For An X58
Comment:
A great quality board, loaded with features, for an unbeatable price. I used to build only with Asus but lately their prices have shot up while the features and accessories have dropped off. I've switched to Gigabyte and their boards never disappoint. Worked perfectly on boot-up and easy to OC. Nothing else at this price comes close for features.

GIGABYTE GA-X58A-UD3R ATX Intel Motherboard
Cons:- None? Maybe Gigabyte could have added some extra SATA cables?

Pros:- Excellent price and feature set compared to other x58 boards- USB3.0 and SATA3 compatible- A bounty of PCI-E slots, and 1 conveniently placed PCI slot- BIOS has a ton of features especially if you overclock- An IDE port for those of us still running the occasional IDE dvd/hard drive
Comment:
This board has been excellent to me. Had no problem booting up with my memory the first time I fired it up and the feature set is incredible for the money you pay. Also, having USB3 and SATA3 just future proofs this motherboard and adds value. 2 thumbs up on this one!

GIGABYTE GA-X58A-UD3R ATX Intel Motherboard
Cons:pci-e 16x slot locations for SLI/Xfire

Pros:pricefeature set
Comment:
I bought this board to replace the older X58-UD3R and this board is better in all the right places. In fact there is very little separating this board from the higher end Gigabyte boards like the new UD5 and UD7. AFAIK UD5 has one more ethernet port and the UD7 adds to that by having better chipset cooling. If there is more separating the boards and I missed it please forgive me. Otherwise this X58A-UD3R is near the exact same as those other two. PCI-e slot placement The one beef I have with this board is that the PCI-e slot arrangement could be better. Personally I would have liked to see the last (bottom) PCI-e slot be the 2nd 16x PCI-e 2.0 not 8X as it current is. This way if you run SLI or Xfire with two cards you would be able to access the one PCI slot (for me that would mean I could use my HT Omega Striker Sound card). Also by having the two video cards so far apart the HSF on each card would both be able to breathe air without restriction. As is running SLI or Xfire in the 16X PCi-e slots requires the cards to be running in close proximity to each other thus the VGA card on top runs hotter then normal. Concerning the bottom PCI-e slot I must also say that is located too close to the bottom of the motherboard. I use a HAF922 and there is not enough room between the PSU and what would be a dual slot vga card if it is placed in the bottom PCI-e slot.Overclocking I am new to x58 over clocking but with this board so far so good. I am able to run the bclk at 200 and that yields me a OC of 4.2Ghz on my i7 920. The Bios offers all the kinds of configurable options that one would expect from a great board like this one. Currently my Ram is running at stock speeds (1600mhz 8-8-8-24 1T) so I have no experience OC'ing ram on this board. In closing the only other thing that really sticks out at me about this board is the included Gigabyte sata3 controller. For a guy that has a lot of Hard Drives like my self, I need and use all the available sata ports. Having two more is always nice to see.
