GIGABYTE GeForce 8400 GS GV-N84S-512I Video Card
Cons:
Not a performance GPU and of course this is reflected in the price
Pros: HDMI, handles blu ray playback seamlessly, price is right Comment:
Great GPU for home theatre builds or just to bring some life back into an older pcie machine. Great quility DVD and blu ray processing. I have always been a fan of gigabyte even though their customer service leaves a lot to be desired at times. |

GIGABYTE GeForce 8400 GS GV-N84S-512I Video Card
Cons:
Only gets 3.8 in graphics on the Windows Experience index.Just barely plays Sims 3.
Pros: Better than on board video Comment:
This card only gets a 3.8 in graphics on the Windows Experience Index for windows 7. Just barely plays Sims 3 which is why I purchased it in the first place. Better than onboard video though. Don't buy this if you plan on doing any serious gaming. |

GIGABYTE GeForce 8400 GS GV-N84S-512I Video Card
Cons:
None so far
Pros: Very inexpensive, low-profile. Sports both DVI and HDMI ports on card. Comes with low-profile and regular height brackets. Comment:
While probably not the most powerful card available, this baby does exactly what I needed it to and for an attractive price. The card allows for dual-head performance in a low-profile machine. Card installed flawlessly on Windows 7 32-bit. Unless it blows up in the next couple of months, it was a pretty darn successful purchase! Keeping my fingers crossed! |

GIGABYTE GeForce 8400 GS GV-N84S-512I Video Card
Cons:
-none that I can think of, other than old ram
Pros: -runs all my business software with ease-easy to install; drivers installed without a hitch and recognized my Wacom tablet without an issue (Hooray!)-HDMI is a nice feature for this range of card-no rebate hassle! Comment:
For a basic utility computer at home and work, this is a great little graphics card. Haven't tried any games, but all my business software (Office, Adobe) works smoothly. Installed and updated easily, and without any conflicts. |
I bought this for my "shuttle XPC" HTPC to replace a radeon HD 5770 card that was super overkill for playing movies. This card works WAY better for playing high rez movies on my 46" samsung lcd. Haven't tried blu-ray yet though but 1920x1080 movies play better than ever. Great bang for my bucks.
