I was suprised to find out that after installing the video card, that my PC would no longer go into the sleep mode. Researching at MS indicated that this is not uncomon.

Bought this card as a upgrade to my Intel integrated graphics and so I could play STO a little smoother. Turns out I got more than what I expected. I can play games with it I never thought I could. It was easy to install except the low profile mounts were kinda turned the wrong way. No biggie though. Runs fairly quiet, plus I have it running with a 250w power supply. All around a great card for the price!

Bought this because it was inexpensive. Zero support from Galaxy by the way-all they do is try to get you off the phone; they didn't even TRY to diagnose the problem. Worked fine for a while, then the fan stopped working, the thing overheated, and it shut down my monitors. I had to open my computer tower and jiggle the fan with my finger to get it working, but found I then had to this almost every time I booted up my computer. Then, the fan started making weird noises, and I could see that the fan was struggling to keep moving. As soon as I saw that, I ordered a new card without a fan this time. The cost is cheap, but also very cheap quality and support.

Worked great for about 6 mo. then the fan worked off and on! It ran hot at 80 to 90C. I installed an auxillary fan and now runs cool 50C.! Otherwise a good card for what I need! Thanks for another good deal.

The video card is adequate, but trying to install the driver (previous card was also NVIDIA) was absolute hell. Ended up having to reinstall Windows, and only then, was able to install the driver. However, this seems to be a general problem with NVIDIA devices, and not just this card in particular.

This is a very good video card for a home user performs well working on pictures and videos. Installed in a new system running Win 7 64 bit and was very simple to configure.

Got this because I got mobo without video onboard. No problems in set-up or use. It does it's job for what I need.

It says it needs a 300wat power but its running on my 250wat power just fine no problems yet!! good card all in all for the price!

i needed a video card to run pro-e (drafting software). works without flaw using 64b win7. not sure how well it will work for gamers, but definitely improved my system for cheap so that i could do scientific computing

very nice card. Runs my sons games as it should. Also have it hooked into his lcd tv via DVI to HDMI, looks awesome. Pleased with this purchase.

This video card is an excellent deal for the money. I was concerned to begin with because I did not know the galaxy brand name but now, after having taken the chance, I am very happy that I did. It is not one of the fastest cards on the market but it will run some pretty tough games that my onboard card would not even load.

I rebuilt a spare machine with a motherboard my nephew gave me and needed a video card. This one seemed to have the most bang for the buck. I was right. It's not the greatest performer I've ever had for running games. But I didn't intend to use it for gaming. So it fits my needs. They had the best price and stellar delivery performance.

I use this card for Autocad Revit and Autocad Civil 3d The processor for this cpu could not handle these programs and would crash. After adding the graphics no problems, quiet fan, and overall better online response time.

I'm not a gamer, but i had one app that dogged my Nvidia 6100 motherboard with 3800 processor, 2G ram and an SATA drive because, I suspect, I run a steaming app at 1600x1200 and 32 bit color. It was crawling, and stopped at times. Now, I runt that app, mail, calendar, large spreadsheet, and a small video window from a news website and all run fine. I'd forgotten what a load video can put on motherboard graphics. I know the specs say its not that fast, but I found, for me, it made a huge difference.

Purchased this item along with computer system & monitor. Wanted a good video card. To my surprise the card sent to me was defective. It would not work in any of my three systems. Rrturned without a problem. However, I am out the shipping both ways & had to purchase a card locally. Really cannot recommend this card. Yes, My systems do have a power supply large enough to handle this card if it had worked.

I've been without a card for some time, relying on the onboard to cook through my games. Things are a lot more seemless and less jerky now. Very pleased for the price, even if I failed to claim the rebate for it. :)

Great card for 41 dollars and some change, it really made my graphics so much prettier, Gaming is fun again!!! I highly recommend!!

I purchased 12 of these video cards in order to set up duel monitors at work. They were a great value and were one of the few cards that included the brackets to make the card low profile. Everyone was pleased , not a single complaint.
