I wanted a unit that stayed in place. This mount system seems very stabil. I am very satisfied with this unit.

I use to have the suction mount on the windshield and would be driving down the road & then for no reason BAM it would hit the floor. I was ready to throw it out the window. Then I found this one on line & wow what a great invention. I leave my GPS hooked up to it all the time when I need it I take it out of my console and set my destination and put it on the dash and it stays right in place. No more dropping to the floor. This thing works like a dream. They all should be like this.

I like the concept of this product but, it wasn't "non-skid" on my car. At least once per day, my GPS along with the mount, would fall of the dash and crash on to my console. I now have an SUV with a larger dash area and don't seem to have the same problem.

This item is just great to have. So much better than trying to put your GPS on the window and it is very stable. The GPS does not move around and you can position it however you would like. Great Item!!!!

Absolutely love this product. It keeps the garmin on the dash and is so much better than trying to stick it to the windshield.

It works great,I Luv'ed it.I rode around with it to see if it would fall it didn't. Once you lock it your good to go.

OK, I gave this 5 stars across the board. This unit should have been shipped with the GPS initially. The little sticky back plate and suction cup is a poor idea. Put the suction cup on your window and on a hot day you will have melted rubber on your windshield and then after a while the suction cup doesn' hold suction anymore. This unit is the solution. Put it on your dash and go. It stays put and you can move it anywhere you need to. Charger, bracket, nice heavy sturdy base, what more can you ask for?
