Gateway FHD2102 21.5IN LCD Widescreen Monitor Black 1920X1080 20000:1 5ms VGA DVI HDMI USB
Cons:- Although loud, speakers sound hollow with no bass- Glossy screen- Not VESA compatible- Pixel film isn't accesible- No Audio/Headphone out
Pros:- USB Hub- Loud built-in speakers- Glossy screen- HDMI- Audio In- Comes with all the cables (HDMI, DVI, VGA, USB) Comment:
I got this during the sale price of $150, and for that amount it was a STEAL! Picture quality is good, viewing angles for a TN panel are decent, loud (although hollow) speakers are great for basic listening, comes with all the cables you'll need, and has a three-port USB hub! What I didn't like about it, was that isn't wall-mountable, pixel film isn't accessible, (so if you get a unit with a stuck pixel, you're left to running alternating colors instead of trying the other more effective methods) and there wasn't an Audio/Headphone out port which I think would have been great. I wouldn't have bought it for the MSRP, but if it ever goes on sale again I probably will. |

Overall great product for the price, replaced a 21" CRT and wow what a difference, not only in size but performance too. |

Gateway FHD2102 21.5IN LCD Widescreen Monitor Black 1920X1080 20000:1 5ms VGA DVI HDMI USB
Cons:Color took about 5 minutes to manually set to match my Westinghouse 24"Size. 21.5inches? REALLY? couldnt give us another .5?
Pros:Included vga, hdmi, dvi, speaker extention, usb extensionTouch buttons are intuitiveLooks great, matches my gateway laptop Comment:
I bought this monitor because I needed a second monitor replacement. This replaced a 17" crt, and it did a hell of a job doing so.It looks sleek, if you appreciate gateway designs that is. It comes will all cables that you'll ever need, which I didnt expect as this website doesn't indicate, and neither does the box of the monitor. For $150, I took the risk, and it was a hell of a deal! Theres plenty of settings you can adjust in the monitor, and im impressed by the menu layout.I wish ncix had a 23 or 24" model of this, i wouldve jumped on it(if it were priced ~200) |
Very pleased with this LCD for the price paid. It has a nice sleek and simple design. Huge upgrade from a 17" Norcent square LCD from 2004. Much richer colours plus way more inupts! Oh ya and the USB hub is a convenient item to get built-in.
