Cons:My Sony Handycam DCR-HC54 was not detected by three different computers/DVD Players with the correct IEEE 1394 Firewire connection.I also tried different operating systems with the cables: Windows 2000, Windows Vista, and Linux. Still didn't work.I had to replace two of these wires purchased with a different brand.At the time of my original purchase, I had to wait over two weeks to pick up the cables.
Pros:None.The two cables I purchased separately did not funtion at all. |

Not as long as you would hope for so be sure to measure things out before you buy it.Basically it's a standard cable and it's very pliable. Seems top quality, good transfer rates. |

Firewire is a well established standard by now, so even pretty cheap products offer good quality. Works well with my DV camcorder, no issues so far. Length is just enough. |
