Just your basic 5E crossover cable. I'm using this to transfer files over gigabit but the speeds are not as high as I expected. It's about the same speed as USB 2.0 but much faster (~4x) than 100mbps ethernet. It also gives me a limited connectivity notice when connected. it works fine. It is grey. Nothing much else to say bout it - it's a generic cable. Resealable bag and no stupid anti snag things on the ends that make it hard to unplug from jacks.
