This headset installed and performs flawlessly. It's a good value. One major improvement would be for it to have a longer cord. The cord plugs directly into the sound card in the back of the computer. Cord length is marginal. The headset provides barely enough to reach the user at the keyboard.

I mostly bought this for the Microphone, which is AMAZING!! Very clear, and great for gaming. This includes a CD to install the drivers you need for the headset to work on everything. My previous headset did not work on Source games. This one does, no problem. Everybody online can hear me very clearly. There's no telephone-type feedback, or squeaking at all. There's no tone when the microphone is turned on; If there's complete silence in your room, there will be complete silence being heard through the microphone. There's no noise-level on/off detection to deplete background sound, because it's not needed. The microphone is great. The speakers on the other hand, are satisfactory. In my case, the right speaker was not working right out of the box. I'm not bothering to return it, because I didn't buy these for the headphones. I got them for the microphone. So in conclusion, if you just want to buy this for the sake of having a good microphone, stop looking. This is it.

Bought this headset as a gift for a friend. She loves it and said it sounds great. I'm going to get one for myself and try it out. According to her, it's worth the money.

Originally purchased as backup set.After main set failed ,used for about 7 months of daily use before wires to mic finally gave up.I have re-purchased as this a great value headset;great sound and comfortable enough to wear for long periods of time

I just bought one of these. As always, shipping was really fast : Ordered on Monday night and received on Thursday AM. Pros : Good accoustic, sounds really nice on the output. Also rather comfortable, even with eyeglasses. Cons : The soft ear-pad covers all the ears and build up heat quickly. Poor mic quality probably due to very thin wires. No in-line mic volume/mute control. Overall a good product for the price but I wouldn’t recommend it for very longtime uses.
