Genus GX SW-G2.1 3000 4-PIECE Gaming Speaker 70 Watt RMS
Cons:Signal auto detect function is garbage, which cause frequently no sound output.Satellite units are lack of mid range, but for gaming is enough.
Pros:Good sub woofer. Good looking. Comment:
No problem when game running, while the sound frequently disappear when watching youtube. (no sound, blue led flashing) Do some search and found that I am not alone. Charming super bass, and really weak mid range. After few minutes, I replaced the satellites with several other units, finally choose a pair of pioneer a1674r(5.25" car speaker, 5W-35W, 50 Dollar before tax)Still want to keep it. (doing some research to see if possible to disable the auto detect function) |

Genus GX SW-G2.1 3000 4-PIECE Gaming Speaker 70 Watt RMS
Cons:Audio cuts out with lower quality sound cards.
Pros:Good sound quality, good looking set Comment:
I bought these speakers on sale thinking they would be a good deal. I set them up conected to my Dell Studio 15 laptop(2010)and they sounded great. Then, about an hour in listening to music, the audio cut out and the blue LED light started to flash. Others also had this problem as other reviews mentioned this issue. Bottom line: Unless you have a VERY good quality sound card, DO NOT buy these speakers or this problem might happen to you. I have since bought Corsair SP2500 which are AMAZING. |
good kit for gaming but not for listen to music the kit is not great for the price
