Gigabyte A75M-D2H mATX AMD FM1 A75 2PCI-E16 1PCI-E1 1PCI DDR3 HDMI DVI SATA3 USB 3.0 Motherboard
Cons:Not enough connectors on the motherboard for extra usb/memory card readers. (I probably just need a new case with a USB3 connector :)
Pros:Optical Audio and HDMI were big selling features for me. Price was right with USB3 and SATA3! Comment:
Great board for the price, has alot of nice features and very easy to overclock CPU, i just increased the multiplier from X27 to X32 and things are looking pretty good with stock cooler. |

Gigabyte A75M-D2H mATX AMD FM1 A75 2PCI-E16 1PCI-E1 1PCI DDR3 HDMI DVI SATA3 USB 3.0 Motherboard
Cons:had some trouble installing win off a usb drive (getting a driver error)
Pros:one of the only matx boards with on board usb3 Comment:
in the end i install win on another computer and transferred the drive. (not a computer wiz but have a general idea of how these things work.) using as an htpc and everything runs great was thinking of tossing in a 40$ vid card to but think i will pass unless a decent onie goes on sale for 10$ or something I have a new sound card on order though, the sound on the board is decent just no dts one of the only board with on board usb 3 which i wanted to have usb3 on the front of my case. thinking of trying out a few games on it if i can get my ps3 controller to link up. |

Gigabyte A75M-D2H mATX AMD FM1 A75 2PCI-E16 1PCI-E1 1PCI DDR3 HDMI DVI SATA3 USB 3.0 Motherboard
Cons:ncix didn't have stock
Pros:cheap, good features, good warranty Comment:
Good board, usb3, sata3, and a good price. Had to cancel this off my order just so i could actually finish my build. 2 weeks, and ncix still didn't have stock. Had to pickup at a competitor's store. Good product, not sure why the slacking on transfering inventory from "toronto warehouse" to first markham. c'mon ncix! |

Gigabyte A75M-D2H mATX AMD FM1 A75 2PCI-E16 1PCI-E1 1PCI DDR3 HDMI DVI SATA3 USB 3.0 Motherboard
Cons:Only 2x DDR3 ram slots, no q-connector equivalent
Pros:Comes with hdmi, dvi, and VGA. A75, so USB3.0 Comment:
Just needed a FM1 motherboard to use for the new computer. Went with the A75 over the A55 for USB 3.0. I don’t have any USB 3.0 devices, but decided it was worth the $20 bucks for futureproofing. First time dealing with the Micro ATX format. I went with this motherboard specifically because it had an HDMI output in the back, on top of the usual DVI-D & VGA. Some may feel limited by the 2x DDR3 RAM slots, but I already knew this going in. The motherboard works well, the computer is running very quietly with the GPU & CPU combined into one chip. First FM1 slot product. Installation of the CPU was also simple. However, I do have one gripe with this motherboard, I wish it included the Q-Connector that came with my ASUS M4A79XTD EVO. In fact, I hope all motherboards will include this handy little part in the future. To compensate for the lack of this accessory, I just plugged in all the front cables before putting the motherboard inside the case. |

Gigabyte A75M-D2H mATX AMD FM1 A75 2PCI-E16 1PCI-E1 1PCI DDR3 HDMI DVI SATA3 USB 3.0 Motherboard
Cons:none nothing at all
Pros:everything about this mobo/ Comment:
what a motherboard/ bundled with mushkin 8gb/ super fast compared to my old core2duo/ try it to see yourself/ amazing performance/ No issue with setup or anything, worked right out of the box/ comes with usb 3 and all new updates |
I bought this to use as a media centre. It currently runs XBMC running Linux Mint 13. I could not get any Ubuntu based installers to finish (they all crashed)I eventually pulled the hard drive out and installed the OS on a different computer. After that done the machine has been working without fiddling for a couple of weeks now.
