Gigabyte F2A85XM-D3H ATX FM2 A85X DDR3 1PCI-E16 3PCI-E1 2PCI SATA3 HDMI DVI USB3.0 Motherboard
Cons:Had problems with my old PSU
Pros:Good price, easy to setup, good performance. Comment:
Bought this and an A6 to replace 10 yr old system. It went together easy, but the old PSU gave me trouble. A new power supply fixed that. Good support through this from NCIX. |

Gigabyte F2A85XM-D3H ATX FM2 A85X DDR3 1PCI-E16 3PCI-E1 2PCI SATA3 HDMI DVI USB3.0 Motherboard
Cons:no displayport
Pros:8x SATA portscheapgood layoutvery expandable Comment:
I very much doubt there is a better mATX or ATX FM2 motherboard than this one. This is about the only board that makes use of all 8xSATA ports from the chipset without wasting it on useless eSATA or not using it at all.The overclockability is good, as to be expected with A85X chipsets. The layout is excellent and very roomy for an mATX board. |

Gigabyte F2A85XM-D3H ATX FM2 A85X DDR3 1PCI-E16 3PCI-E1 2PCI SATA3 HDMI DVI USB3.0 Motherboard
Cons:None.
Pros:This is my 3rd ultra durable giga byte board. It has not disappointed. Booted clean, runs cool with stock heat sinks, bios is easy and instructions are clear. Plenty of USB 3 connections. Comment:
This is an easy board to work with. Good feature set for the price. I was also surprised by how power efficient the FM2 platform is. With 7 HDDs and an A4, this system only draws 65W from the wall at idle!! I have had no issues with the chipset (or any other component) overheating. Highly recommend this board if it's in your price range. |
Gigabyte continues to be my favourite mobo maker. For the price they have the best feature set and the quality is outstanding - I've never had a DOA board or any issues with a build. Highly recommended.
