This the second old type board I bought from Gigabyte and had no problems with it. I purchased MSI boards in the past and they all seem to die after 3 years. Hopefully this does not happen with these boards. I know you should replace the MB every 3 years any way since electrically they deteriorate in speed by 50% |
Decent motherboard if you have a LGA775 processor and need a basic setup. DDR3 memory definitely you notice the performance increase however it lacks ICH8 south bus so no RAID support which is a huge disappointment. Needed a motherboard to replace my Asus P5B that died. It was reversed ICH8 but DDR2. But All around a great motherboard for an simple need. Stability is decent. Standard installation no noted driver problems with Windows 8.
