dunno what the other was talking about "noise from audio jack" but it's probably his connection issue. the audio is high quality. ram is 1400mhz max apparently, with 8-8-8 (even tho my ram is 1600/9-9-9) |

An okayish board. Will do its job. The noise from the headphone jack is incredibly annoying. Recommend getting a board with shielded onboard sound PCB paths for a little bit more money. Not worth having to buy a $50 sound card just to make this board bearable. Just buy a $120 motherboard with better build quality and more functionality. |

Cons:- no usb3 ports/plugs for front of case (old or new style)- only 2 Sata3 6GBit ports (other 2 are 3Gbit) (at this price, it doesn't realy matter, nice to be able to hook up an SSD and go full speed at this price)- only 2 ram slots (but this is what you get at this price, so not really a con)
Pros:- inexpensive- haswell (latest cpu's) socket 1150- gigabyte all solid caps- usb3 ports (on back) Comment:

Using this for a basic HTPC / Steam streaming box , so far it has worked flawlessly I've had no real issues.I only wish that it had the connector so that I could use USB 3.0 to the front of the panel.Good budget price for what you get
