Comment:
I found no issues with this boars, didn't need to update  bios to work properly, fast z77 board. I guess the previous poster got a lemon-i'm really happy with this mobo.

Cons:1 pcie x16, the other is only x4pcie x16 failed from day 1pcie x1 not compatible with any internal wireless card (tplink, asus that i have tried)very bad writing manual, troubleshooting has nothing meaningful, i have to search online for all the symptoms i encountered

Pros:cheap, nothing else

I normally assemble at least 1 PC every year and this MB is the worst experience ever! DO NOT BUY!First, the PCIE x 16 slot (the other PCIE is only x4 and share with other PCIE ports for bandwidth) failed. It didn't detect all 3 dedicated graphical cards I tried (2 6850s and 1 GTX 650 Ti, all working on a similar spec MSI MB). I could only use the integrated HD 2500 from the i5-3450 CPU. I could use the x4 PCIE slot to post. Searched online and this is a common issue that the PCIE control failed to switch (not just gigabyte, other MB brands too)Second, this MB is NOT compatible with any internal wireless adapter (i tried 2 brand new TP-Link and ASUS cards, all working on the other PC I have). Brought the rig to NCIX and the service guy told me they're inspecting another PC that had the exact same issue (Win7 died after boot, or no display output signal at all).Third, the PCIE/PCI configuration is quite bad, the two PCIE 1.0 slots are located between the two PCIE X16/X4 slots, so if you want to add a PCIE 1.0 card, it will block the vent of the PCIE x16 graphical cardWasted 8-10 hours on this POS and will never touch another gigabyte MB. I had a similar spec PC using MSI MB and no problem, will return this and try a ASUS this time.
