Cons:A little bit more expensive then cards of the same tier
Pros:Runs coolDecent value Comment:
Great card that runs pretty much all current gen stuff at max with ease. The 3 fan setup makes sure it runs cool the majority of the time. With the recent price cuts, its a bit more affordable now too. |

Gigabyte GeForce GTX 770 OC 1189MHZ 2GB 7.0GHZ GDDR5 2xDVI HDMI DisplayPort PCI-E Video Card
Cons:-expensive compared to 7970s that can potentially be OCed to perform as well as an OCed GTX 770
Pros:-Stays at ~65 degrees while running Unigine Heaven 4.0-easily plays BF3 q maxed out at 1080p Comment:
Cool and fast running card that performs very well. However, I would recommend the 7970 if you're gonna do hardcore overclocking. |

Gigabyte GeForce GTX 770 OC 1189MHZ 2GB 7.0GHZ GDDR5 2xDVI HDMI DisplayPort PCI-E Video Card
Cons:Expensive, overclocking unstable
Pros:Very cool, powerful Comment:
So far i've been running everything on maxed settings with 70fps on crysis 3, 100+ fps on bf3 and 200+ fps on team fortress 2. the cards a beast and burns through any game like a knife through butter. After playng far cry 3 on maxed settings 50-60fps for 3 hours I got a max temperature of 70 degrees C which went back to 40 degrees C within a few minutes of closing far cry 3. Idle temperature of 30-40 degrees C . It's a bit hard to overclock with OC GURU II as it keeps crashing if i overclock it with the software. If anyone has any OC advice that'd be great. |

Gigabyte GeForce GTX 770 OC 1189MHZ 2GB 7.0GHZ GDDR5 2xDVI HDMI DisplayPort PCI-E Video Card
Cons:Heavy; causes PCI-e slot to flex, and the entire card droops toward the power connector end.Probably not suited for 25x14/25x16 or surround gaming
Pros:QuietFastGood for 19x10/19x12 Comment:
Had a hard time choosing between this and the 1ghz+ 7970s. Which is faster depends on which review you read. Either will give you virtually identical performance and power consumption.Anyway, I'm impressed with the cooler on this card. With 26c ambient, average temp is 62c (60% fan speed) after over an hour of gaming in stuff like GRID2, Dishonored, GTA4, Bioshock Infinite, etc. 60% fan speed is very quiet--my H100 is louder at idle. Despite dumping heat into the case, my CPU temps aren't any higher than with my blower-style GTX470. Air coolers might be different, both in terms of noise masking and how they perform with 200w of heat dumped into the case.Performance is very good as well. I'm running at 1920x1200 with everything maxed, and GPU usage is in the 70-90% range. Frame rates don't dip below 60 (except in GTA4, where I see 45-50 average). Boost is always on at 1241 mhz. Haven't tried to OC yet, but the cooler has plenty of room left. I bought this card to play current and (hopefully) next gen games maxed out at over 60 fps, and so far the card has delivered. I tend to play 3-4 hours of games per week, and like things to just work without tweaking. |

Gigabyte GeForce GTX 770 OC 1189MHZ 2GB 7.0GHZ GDDR5 2xDVI HDMI DisplayPort PCI-E Video Card
Cons:Some very small cons but worth consideration:1. All GTX 770s I have looked at are mentioned to be heavy so use a screw and screw it securely into your pc case, do not let it hang by the PCIE slot alone.2. This may just be my case but coming from a 570 I was able to boot into windows with this card but Nvidia control panel would not detect the card. I had to reinstall the Nvidia driver (both installations had the most current driver on their website) before I could manipulate the card via the control panel.
Pros:1. Power: this card can dynamically clock itself based on load so for example at a loading screen in a game the card will lower it's clock saving you power and money. It will return to full speed/clock upon entering a high load area. I have not seen any stuttering with this feature (with 1 card).2. Quiet fans yet still very cool load temperatures. Doing Metro: Last Night benchmarks the card hit 70c and 57% fan but was still fairly quiet.3. Overclocked to 1241mhz out of the box4. Gpu boost 2.0 is great for overclocking and if you do want to go higher, it allows unfamiliar users to easily and safely overclock their cards.5. According to reviews this card uses 7 watts at idle! I monitored the clocks and they stayed at 134mhz even when watching high resolution youtube videos. Comment:
Overall a great card for it's price (414.99 at time of purchase). I am upgrading from a 570 so it was worth the price. If you already have a 660 ti, 670 or 680 (680 is essentially the same card maybe 5% slower~) then in my opinion it is not worth the upgrade unless you game at 2560 resolution or higher and in that case maybe a 780 is better for you. |
Great overall GPU. Runs most games at Highest settings excluding some AA settings. For example, when playing tomb raider, with TressFX and SSAAx4 on, the FPS does drop to around 40-45. Thats only during moments where alot needs to be rendered though.
