Cons:only 2 fan headers
Pros:Lot of features, stable, intel WIFI Comment:
Bought to put into a itx built paired with a 3570 non K. Was easy to install, slick, pleased with it. Nice bios too! did not need the Z version as air flow and stock cooler would not allow me to overclock this its built. |

Gigabyte H77N-WIFI mITX LGA1155 Z77 DDR3 1PCI-E16 HDMI SATA3 USB3.0 DVI HDMI Motherboard
Cons:Motherboard unstable when used in dual channel mode.
Pros:On paper this board offers a lot of features, such as wifi, bluetoothUEFI menu is clean and easy to useBoard looks nice Comment:
For the first time, I wanted to try a different motherboard brand, other than Asus and went with Gigabyte. This board, on paper, offers a lot of features for a budget motherboard, such as wifi, and Bluetooth, hence it was my 1st choice when I was looking to purchase for a mini-itx board. However motherboard was very unstable when used in dual channel mode. Windows kept BSODing, to the point where it was un-usable. Returned to NCIX and exchanged for another brand, which works perfectly fine now.I am hoping it was just my luck I had received a defective board, however I'll probably no longer go back to Gigabyte for my next motherboard purchase. |
For the price, I'm really happy with the features included with this motherboard, and the nice quality appearance, and black PCB.The only thing I've been unhappy with is the motherboards fan control. I've tried all sorts of fans both 3-pin and 4-pin PWM, and they all spin way to fast. I've also played around with the BIOS fan settings. In the end I just use Noctua's low-noise adapters to bring the fans down to around 900-1000 RPM which makes them nearly silent, and provides sufficient cooling for my system.
