Cons:No real cons, I'm personally not a huge fan of gold on motherboards other than that no.
Pros:Sata Express 10gb (Will be useful in the future), Intel NIC, Great Build Quality, Good on board audio. Over all a great mother board, Great Price. Comment:
I purchased this motherboard to go with my Intel Xeon 1230 v3. I am using it for hosting multiple gaming servers as well as running a plex server. I really needed the performance boost (I was using an old AM3 system) and I decided to go with this motherboard because it had Intel Ethernet, It was an H97 board meaning it has SATA 10gb, and overall it was at a great price and also from a company that I have had trust in for years. If you are purchasing a processor that cannot be overclocked I highly recommend this board. |
This motherboard was purchased for use with a new PC set-up as a lower end gaming rig for my son.Decided in the end to swap out the Asus motherboard on my PC for this board instead, and it was more suitable for future upgrades that I may consider. The main feature of interest is the M.2 capability. The Intel GbE LAN also appealed.Installation was a breeze, with no problems whatsoever. The manual was straightforward and easy to use.System seems very solid with 8GB RAM, a Samsung EVO SSD and Seagate hard drive.Would recommend as a good cheap board with plenty of options.
