Cons:Will not allow you to fit a standard 8.5" x 11" North American paper/pad/file folder--very frustrating as it "misses" by about 1/2" in both dimensions.
Pros:Well-made, discrete colour/labelling. Compact enough to carry with you all the time, anywhere. Love the hard-to-find "vertical messenger bag" format. Top magnetic "lid" makes it easy to flip open (no zipper). Comment:
The inability to carry even a standard pad of paper, letter-sized spiral notebook or file folder is a Deal-Breaker for me and very, very frustrating since I love everything else about this case.Instead of the outside zippered pocket on the back of the case, they could have easily left this as an open sleeve and it would have been perfect to slide in an 8.5" x 11" notepad. Even better, had they simply made it 1/2" bigger in both dimensions a file folder or spiral-bound notebook would have fit.Checked on the Golla.com website and this model seems to be discontinued. You have to purchase the "Cooper G1290" bag which measures 9.6x13.8x3.1 inch overall vs. 8.27x11.8x2.76 for this case. That seems to me the one to buy--if I can find it. This case is fantastic, looks and feels solid. Fits acer aspire as1410(11.6") notebook perfectly. Can also stick a playbook or other 7inch tablet in the front zipper pocket, ample pockets and card holders. One gripe is that the should strap is incredibly short, about 2.5x the length of the case and that itself isn't very long. I honestly wish manufacturers and vendors would give complete dimensions.
