HEC 6K28BS Black / Silver Computer Case
Cons:- Finger print magnet- No anti-vibration features- No front intake fan support
Pros:+ Good looks; one of the few inexpensive cases with some silver+ Support for an exhaust 92mm fan; only a 80mm fan is included+ Fairly quiet stock 80mm fan+ Removable caddy for an internal 3.5" hard drive, but more or less useful Comment:
For a low-end computer build, this case works fairly well. It was paired up with a Gigabyte GA-MA74GM-S2, AMD 5200+ and Corsair CMPSU-400CX. Installation was simple, and the case was quite roomy for a mATX case. Unfortunately, this case has no anti-vibration features, such as silicone pads for the hard drive. Because of that, even a WD Green 1TB 32MB was quite noisy because of the vibration. No cable routing behind the motherboard tray is possible because the left side panel is held by rivets into the frame. Airflow is adequate, but the case does not suppor a front intake fan. Thankfully, it supports an exhaust 92mm. For the price, the 6K28BS is quite well built, but not Antec NSK3480 in comparison. I would buy again for a budget build. |

HEC 6K28BS Black / Silver Computer Case
Cons:for the price, none
Pros:cheapdecent quality for the priceperfect for budget build Comment:
bought 2 of these, one for my brother's budget build and one for a cheap bedroom htpc. i own two antec cases which are much better than this one, but considering how cheap this case is i am very impressed. ive bought cheap cases before that were built like crap, this one seems to be a step above those. highly recommended for a low cost case solution. |

HEC 6K28BS Black / Silver Computer Case
Cons:- None unless you buy this and expect to use an ATX motherboard lol.
Pros:- Price once price-matched- Stylish enough- Fits perfectly for a Micro-ATX, very small case. Comment:
Highly recommanded for a cheap build. Perfect for the computer I built for my aunt. Just don't buy this for hardcore gaming with overclocking cause u won't have enough air flow and be able to use ATX boards. |

HEC 6K28BS Black / Silver Computer Case
Cons:Only one hard drive cage
Pros:Looks really goodNo sharp edgesEasy to work withGood construction Comment:
This is a great case. Used it in a budget build and worked perfectly. It looks surprisingly good, price matched it down to 25 bucks, what a steal. Great case for the price, if you need a low priced mATX case, look no further. Will purchase again. |

HEC 6K28BS Black / Silver Computer Case
Cons:None
Pros:Solid BuildCheapNo Power SupplySmall Comment:
I am pretty satisfied with this case. It does not come with a power supply so it's good for upgrade or if you want to buy a premium PS rather than having the stock one. It's small, so if you have a mATX motherboard this case would save a lot of space. |

HEC 6K28BS Black / Silver Computer Case
Cons:H/D enclosure a little flimsy
Pros:Nice lookingCompactPrice Comment:
This case doesn't stack up to some of the pricier models but for the price it is pretty solid. Looks good & no sharp edges.Even has a front firewire connection if your board supports. |

HEC 6K28BS Black / Silver Computer Case
Cons:-Only 92mm rear fan, 120mm preferred-Steel Quality is a little suspect
Pros:-Excellent Quality for Price Comment:
There is not to much else to say, overall I am very impressed that for $35 short of a PSU. With so many current mATX cases making it impossible to use larger heatsinks, use ATX power supplies and actually install more then 1 3.5" device (cough Antec cough cough) I was very happy to run into this case. The steel is rolled for no sharp edges which is generally not found in an entry level brand. I am running a 3800+ X2 teamed with a 8500GT that is very happily used by my sister. I hope this case is available for a long time as I will happily purchase more! |

HEC 6K28BS Black / Silver Computer Case
Cons:cheap
Pros:cheap, looks ok Comment:
There's a very good reason why this case is priced so low. It's low quality. Very flimsy sheet metal, the motherboard mounting tray isn't fastened very securely, and the internal hard drive cage is totally useless. The case will work fine if it's just sitting still on a desk all the time (which is the case for most pc's), and if you use one of the externally accessable 3.5" drive bays for the hard drive, and if you don't look closely at the fit and finish of the case. |

HEC 6K28BS Black / Silver Computer Case
Cons:I would have preferred a 120mm fan exhaust, but 92mm is decent. Rubber feet are very thin so you will be blocking the bottom vent if you place the case on carpet. No mounting for intake fan is possible.
Pros:Good value for the price. Some nice "deluxe" features. Comment:
You get a lot for what you pay for:- honeycomb stamped fan grill for optimal cooling- thumbscrews for side panel make opening/closing a snap- padlock loop on side panel for security- removable 3.5" drive cage (also tool-less)- tool-less PCI slot protectors- front panel headers are all neatly zip-tied and anchored to the bottom of the case- a Firewire 6-pin port in the frontThere was plenty of room for installation, and no sharp edges encountered. The case is sturdy. It's compact but will still take a full ATX PSU.Also, despite what the specification says, there are mounting holes to replace the 80mm chassis fan with a 92mm fan. |
Bought this for a budget build. I installed a Gigabyte GA-MA74GM-S2H, AMD Athlon II x3 425 and a 450watt PS. installation was very straight forward because it was surprisingly roomy for an mATX case. Also the cable management wasn't that big of an issue because I could neatly tuck it in behind the DVD slots, although it would have been easier if the left panel came off. The only cons are the neat HD mount has no anti-vibration so if your HD is churning then you will hear it. Also, there is only one place to mount a fan - I guess this would make sense since its a budget build. All in all it is a good case, for a budget build with surprisingly good quality and especially good if you PM it.
