overall it's a great card, i read a lot of benchmarks comparing the gtx 580 to this hd 7950 and they came pretty close to each other in most reviews with the hd 7950 having a slight edge, not sure if most of these reviews were done pre-release but after installing the card and updating drivers, etc to the newest, the hd 7950 beats out the gtx 580 in every game i play without a problem, and my gtx 580 was a gigabyte factory oc model. the hd 7950 is also very easy to overclock if you want to, the only con i see with it is that doing gpu stress testing my temps topped out at 74C, but i'm planning on upgrading the cooler on the card anyway.
