HP / Hewlett-Packard Mini 210-1030NR 10.1" Netbook Computer (Solid Black)
Cons:
The battery is sticking out of the chassisCan't add more RAM (only 1 slot, and is not user replaceable)The trackpad is a little inconsistent when used for awhileHyperThreading is not showing up on Task ManagerScreen is a little small, wished HP made a 12 inch version.
Pros: It is all blackNice screen and keyboardVery power efficient with EISTOn specs, appears to have HyperThreading |

HP / Hewlett-Packard Mini 210-1030NR 10.1" Netbook Computer (Solid Black)
Cons:
not crazy about the track pad
Pros: faster than i anticipated, very light, nice screen and keyboard Comment:
i've basically replaced my laptop with this. it's great for everything i need it for - word, powerpoint, internet access, etc. I even like windows 7 starter quite well though obviously there are some limitations. For instance you need to use a third party application to change the desktop background.still, i bought this on a whim thinking i might not get to use it much, and i use it all the time. Highly recommended. |
I found this netbook on the sale this week. I was thrilled that it came with an all black exterior. I was not thrilled to see that the battery acted like a stand for the netbook. I guess that's the compromise for having a 6 cell battery instead of 3. There is also no back cover either, that means you can't access the RAM normally.Overall, it was a good deal for the price.
