Pros:Small and fast Comment:
This is a little but capable printer. Nothing fancy, it just do the job well. Maybe it isn't 1st in all categories but i don't have any complaint for now against it. |
I ran HP business printers for years, then retired the business and kept my printers till it was time for them to retire. Then tried a couple samsung printer and lexmark laser printers and found that the print quality of the samsung and lexmark printers was very poor compared to HP.Both samsung and lexmark may state 1200 dpi but it is an effective DPI which is not a true DPI. As well the dithering algorithms used by samsung and lexmark are blatantly 600dpi and any fine details are lost. Now back to HP my old friend in a current rendition - true 1200 dpi printing that is incredibly sharp and detailed.Duplexer works great.Easy to set up and configure (including extensive web interface)Airprintand it can print envelopes without crimpling the end of the envelope (why samsung ... why?)I've used some of the alternatives ... samsung boasts great print quality but when compared to HP, samsung is very lacking. And I have used lexmark consumer and corporate grade printers and both have image printing issues that downgrade prints to 600dpi with abysmal dithering routines.I'm back with HP and have to say it is good to be back with a quality product.
