Win7 detects scanner automatically (no need for driver CD), but the Scanner Software that comes on CD isn't compatible with Win7. You can use Win7's default scanning program via Control Panel -> Devices and Printers -> Scanner to do a scan but the software is very limited.I stumbled upon VueScan (free for home use) -- it's MUCH better than the built-in Windows Scanning program, and has way more options.http://www.hamrick.com/
