Love this little mouse. It's bigger than my old Microsoft laptop mouse (a positive imho), but definitely smaller than any of the full size ones I use with my desk top system, so still a very portable size. It has a very slick glassy feeling surface with soft touch sides. Response time is great, haven't experienced any lag with it. I didn't install the software that came with it. My system recognized it as soon as I plugged in the dongle and started using it, so I skipped the software installation. I've used lots of different mobile mice and this is my favorite so far. It's cute too, and matches the HP V2 series laptops.
