cheap Update to my initially critique: Right after my 1st monitor became unusable due to half the screen regularly flickering, I shipped it back and got a replacement. I was extremely happy with Hanns-G's consumer support. However, the solution still stinks. My second monitor has the similar issues resuming from standby as the 1st, and now, soon after about three months of use, the screen has become pale and blurry. DO NOT Obtain THIS MONITOR. You will NOT save cash. If you spend ฟ to ship it back -- which you will, at least after -- you're already spending enough that you really should get a respected brand in the first spot. Although this monitor has a high overall rating (it is, following all, huge and affordable,) the 1 star testimonials tell the story -- this model does not resume from standby even when it's "working," and rapidly breaks on top rated of that.

Great picture seemed good for the value Worked for 9 months flawlessly. 9th month the image would flicker off immediately after becoming on for about 7 seconds. Turn it off then back on and image would show once again for about 7 seconds then do the very same point. Nicely I called Hann's CS and took awhile to get to talk to a person, ultimately got by way of and have set up a rma with Hann's regrettably unlike newegg I have to ship it at my expense...

Nice glossy finish, thin trim edge adds to the perceived monitor width, lots of connections, HDMI to DVI cable included!No dead pixels! Demands an 'Auto' button, buttons descriptions are nearly not possible to see, don't like the quantity of stickers on the front trim (I don't truly care if this monitor is Power Star, and so on.), built-in speakers are weak (of course), monitor seems smaller than it should be... At roughly 赔, I certainly buy this monitor again. At it's present price of 超.99, I'd purchase one thing else.This is now my main monitor, sitting next to a 22" Envision.I don't use the constructed-in speakers, but it's a good feature which appears to be more and much more typical on bigger LCD's.

Big Screen, appears good. Newegg shipped promptly. Purchased two when they supplied the 169.00 special in August 2010. Dual monitors looked excellent till yesterday when one particular went "white". Hanns-G sent a shipping label and for ส i shipped it to Irvine, CA to be fixed. Not pleased that in a couple of quick months the monitor blew. Purchase extended warranty for this as evidence of the a lot of repair records. Preserve the original box as you will be shipping it back to repair!

I like just about every little thing about Hanns G monitors. Have ordered numerous in the last few years for custom builds and only 1 had a bad pixel. this a single is massive, crisp, and vibrant. comes with all cables you'd will need except for a HDMI cable. The input auto scan is nice, no require to fumble by way of a menu when switching out devices. there is no DVI but the monitor comes with a DVI to HDMI adapter cable. not actually a con. I was a small worried about this specific model due to some of the negative critiques. So far mine is close to ideal...we'll see if it stays that way.

Still massive screen, best contrast ratio for any user. Good refresh rate and response rate. Remarkable brightness. Puts other people to shame? Okay, so I know I just left a comment on this a handful of hours ago, but I figured out the challenge. My "flickering" challenge was just my laptop's PSU... and my cable modem... and my speakers... lol.So, the initial factor I did was unplug every little thing except my laptop and the monitor and BAM! the screen exploded! No, but seriously, the flicker disapeared. So then, by signifies of trial by error, I plugged in anything individually, and they ALL contributed to the monitor's interference..So now anything is plugged in through extension chord; separate from my beloved monitor's own personal outlet.It sucks that I have to spoil this monitor to get it to function adequately, but in the end it's worth it.6 eggs?

-Screen image, colour, and resolution are all awesome on this. I upgraded from a four year old 19" Hanns-G JW199D (which is now my IRC monitor), and I couldn't believe the how much better the colors looked.-No dead or stuck pixels!-Nothing at all to easy or too complex for settings. I'm glad you can adjust the input with one particular button on my JW199D you have to go into the OSD to do anything. -Speakers disappointed me. Even at max volume they are not that loud and the high quality isn't wonderful. The speakers on my old monitor sound greater and are a lot louder. Of course though none of that would matter if you have speakers.-Buttons on the bottom is weird especially due to the fact you generally just have to feel for which button your pushing specially if it's dark and you can't see anything. For the price this could not be beat at all. It's a amazing monitor, and so far I'm really happy with my purchase. Now I just want a much more strong graphics card to play the newest games to their fullest on right here.

This monitor was a steal! At the time I purchased it, it was on sale for I think 赓.99, but even at 赨 I would snatch another one particular of these in a heartbeat! The cost is insanely very good, the good quality of the monitor is awesome and it looks certainly beautiful, no dead pixels on mine. Have had it for about two months and some now, and don't regret something. The HDMI input is overly sensitive on the monitor, one particular touch of my finger causes the screen to lose the signal. Huge and lovely when it operates. Had the identical troubles as many of the other testimonials. two hdmi, 1 vga, constructed in speakers, good visual top quality, clear/vibrant screen. I'm not picky but at 赔 Supreme Commander, Half Life2 and Dragon Age look quite darn good over 25". limited stand adjust, weak audio, edge light bleed @ 1080p my graphics gave me the black borders. It has been talked about a lot, but if you are making use of an ATI card you'll either will need to update your drivers or dig through the Manage Center and uncover the overscan settings(complete discomfort and not suitable exactly where you can locate it). The stand is cheap/junk compared to my Samsung 204b and is on my extended list of factors to replace list. As I said in the title, Appreciate the size for the cost. Image top quality is fantastic and no dead pixels. 24.six" is a fantastic size to do something with. The one particular I identified is the internal speakers have been a small tinny sounding but you don't obtain a monitor for the speakers correct? The other is the stand, a small weak but if you don't move it a lot it will be fine. I just wish the value would come back down to where I bought mine at so I can purchase yet another or two....

pretty good picture and capabilities for the value DOA. Sent back to Hanns G and got it back in three weeks.They repaired the power board. Problem is that it looks like they have concrete workbench with all the scratches on the front that came back! I am NOT pleased at all with this service and lack of care for the monitor even though they produced the repairs. Now the monitor looks like cr*p with all the scratches and scuffmarks, but it's not worth another ฮ to complain to ship it back. Be careful if you want to send it back for any cause!

i can't tension this the monitor is large. Did what i necessary and was excellent till it broke. I'm a college student and coming onto the end of the year I realised if i powered off I would have to toggle the power quite a few times to get it re-energize. I ignored it as they say if it ain't broke don't repair it. Put it in storage for the summer season came back. dang point would not power on. Pictures flickers on for three sec and then disappears. fortunately i had three days left to RMA it appears to have a poor reliability track record

Just read the description, the pro's are clear. No cons but (knock on wood). No dead pixels, box arrived in excellent shape, and so did the monitor. I absolutely hate UPS from experiences in the previous, this time was only slightly far better. Newegg advertised absolutely free three day UPS shipping, on the other hand it was actually sent "UPS Ground" which is a 5 day shipping service. I only found this out by in fact going to the UPS web-site to track the package instead of just Newegg's tracking service. So I ordered Wed. morning expecting it to arrive Friday or Sat. at the newest. Rather it arrived Monday :/ At least UPS truly left the package this time as an alternative of shipping it back to Newegg like they've done ahead of when I wasn't house.

Worked excellent for 11 months but that is it. The decrease right corner backlight began going dim 11 months in but it still worked. Now the left side goes dim and then then the screen goes black right after becoming powered on for only ten seconds. Keeps doing this and will not keep on. Tried diverse input ports / various sources in but with no success.

Giant Screen! I went from an old 17" crt to this behemoth! Really light weight, and steady. Monitor is Excellent for mutli-taskers simply because of all the space on the desktop. Love the High Def!! I could be doing something wrong, but if I turn off the monitor and then turn it back on it says no signal detected. So now I just shut down my pc and leave the monitor in stand by. the Auto detect function performs wonderful that way. The speakers are horrible, but I wasn't organizing on utilizing them anyhow.If you plan on working with the speakers, I'd recomend spending the $ you saved on this monitor on a very good set of computer speakers, even a บ.00 pair has to sound far better! I'm also utilizing this monitor for my xbox 360 it appears wonderful!!As pointed out above the speakers are no fantastic at all so I just hooked up the headphone out on the monitor to my computer speakers, there is a small volume lost but the sound good quality is significantly substantially better than the constructed in speakers! Only had it for ten days, I'm hoping that it will final for 10 years. lol. If it craps out with in the initially year or so I'll update the critique.

Massive screen, incredibly inexpensive, bright backlight Severe ghosting of images following about 3 months of use. Every single image on the screen seems to be duplicated, massive black streak from best to bottom of screen along left side. Don'y get. Chances are you'll end up unsatisfied. Warranty demands me to ship the monitor to California (I'm in Ohio), all costs on me. Who knows how several weeks it would take for their repair. Not worth it, commit the extra money and steer clear of Hanns-G

I'd have to say that I had my doubts about it, however I started to enjoy the qualities this monitor had. Very first: it is extremely affordable compared to it's competitors, Second: if you consider that you are going to get a 񓕙" monitor for a bargain you are an idiot, it's cheap for a reason, and finally: the speakers aren't fantastic but using it as a large display has made my life simpler additional or significantly less, I don't genuinely care how higher or low the frame buffer is on this thing. Low cost, major. Annoying higher pitch hum when on, horrible viewing angle, and it just died right after only 11 months. Fighting with HannsG for an RMA now. Luckily I kept my old monitor.

hdmi connection. speakers, good refresh, excellent resolution, Huge & Low cost! The colour isn't as great as my old samsung syncmaster 223.Soon after a few months of owning, it's broken and doesn't wake up soon after it goes to sleep. You have to energy cycle to get the image to come back up. At first it was just truly sluggish to come back and i didn't consider anything of it, but now that i have to restart it all the time, it's becoming a real hassle. If you want a huge affordable monitor it's not negative, but beware, mainly because like other people have claimed, it won't wake up with the mouse and you'll be stuck pressing the energy button everytime you come back to use it.

So far have been extremely pleased with this monitor. I use it as the center principal monitor with two other unique brands as two and 3 and I wind up moving what ever I am doing to this monitor as it is the greater of the 20" and 26" monitors I use. So far none have shown up. Everyone passing by my office comments on how clear this monitor is.

Clear image top quality, cables integrated None yet I've only had it for about a week now, but so far there have been no issues. Had to update my video drivers to work out some color and size issues, no big deal. I don't use the built-in speakers.
