Tech expertise: Very a handful of years in IT market, but not a hardware expert, specifically in the realm of monitors.Beautiful display, crisp image, bright colors, and comprehensive with HDMI port. For these with DVI cables, the integrated DVI adapter is a great bonus. For a value tag of 赨 you only can\'t beat this type of bang for the buck. So far it's been a great high high quality image with no dead pixels. The 1920x1080 resolution this monitor permits is quite good. Just demoed Just Bring about 2 on it, and it was a breathtaking sight. It only tilts up and down. This is not a con for me, but may be for a person else, so just retain this in mind. I maintain my monitor in a fixed position on my desk, so I wouldn't have a will need for that kind of range of movement anyway. A humorous and odd side have an effect on of operating this monitor -- My program won't shutdown as long as the monitor is on. I've never heard of such a point, nor knew this was even attainable, but with my program entirely shutdown, powered off, if I turn on the monitor, the desktop promptly boots istelf up. Straightforward workaround -- turn off the monitor just before you system fully shutsdown. So it's not a challenge, but a bit amusing. Truly, it's a bit practical being in a position to boot up my desktop by just turning the monitor on! |

The specs on the monitor are really fascinating to be fairly frank. I did enjoy the 1080p, HDMI imputs, and definitely the 2ms response time. The image top quality was good, when it truly worked, which brings me to the cons. My initial monitor lasted me 3 months before the monitor blacked out. This was apparently do to the power circuit board burning out. So i sent it back, had to spend the ำ shipping expenses unfortunately, and they sent it back. Apparently they had been going to repair MY monitor and send it back, but it absolutely was not my original a single. I marked the back label with blue pen which was no longer there, the a single i received was scratched on the frame, and it also had a stuck pixel that would not come out.I named them back once more and had to send that monitor back the exact same week. (This time they paid for shipping)I just got a NEW 1 this time(not a repaired 1) 14 days ago. Surprise surprise, it blacked out once again last evening. I just got off the phone with Hannspree but once again, i must ship the monitor out after much more. This time they claim to be giving me the upgraded version (HZ251) as a replacement to see how it fairs with my luck. Looks like i will locate out in about two weeks. If the monitor in fact worked 100% of the time i would be fully satisfied with it. The fact that Hannspree Tech Assistance practically knows my name currently is as large of a flaw as you can get. (Although i dont have to remain on the telephone longer than five-10min with them at this point ahead of they want to send me a new monitor. Which can be a plus. lol)I do not recommend THIS particular monitor to any individual, but as far as the HZ251 goes, the testimonials appear promising. Lets hope this is the last time i have to call for a new monitor. |

The price tag was a bit decrease, but the good quality was abominable. It looks superior than a monochrome monitor, but not by considerably. This obtain taught me to in no way get a different hanns-G monitor once more. The colors had been blurred and no amount of adjusting could support. Keep AWAY from Hanns-G. They are inexpensive for a cause. |

Massive, vibrant monitor. Power LED is little, green whilst on, yellow (amber) even though in standby, and not obnoxious.Monitor buttons are on the bottom of the bezel. This is good given that when you push them, you're pushing up on the monitor (and not back, which you would if they were on the front). As a outcome, you're not pushing the monitor around with every button press. The screen has a matte (anti-glare) finish, so you're not staring at a reflection of your self.Blu-ray movies and HDTV appear awesome. It came with two stuck pixels (both blue and side-by-side). The gently pushing with a pencil eraser trick worked and they both seem to be fine now, but come on, LCDs monitors have been accessible for more than fifteen years. Why do we nevertheless have dead and stuck pixels? In the manual, they claim that up to .01% defective pixels is standard, but on a screen this size, that's 207 pixels! There is a bit of ghosting as I move the mouse around. It's most noticible when black is moving on white. This monitor claims a 2ms refresh rate, but my 4ms monitors don't do this. It's not substantial during video and it is fine for internet browsing, but it is slightly distracting though I'm operating on the commandline or in a programming IDE. Possessing two HDMI ports is nice, but why is there no DVI? At least it comes with a DVI-HDMI cable. The dynamic contrast setting is off by default. Turn on the "x-contrast" choice if you want it.The warranty is 1 year from the buy date for the panel and backlight, 3 years for anything else (what else is there?). You spend shipping out and they pay shipping back.DimensionsScreen width: 21 3Ǟ"Screen height: 12"Screen diagonal: 24 fiveǞ"Monitor width: 22 7Ǟ"Monitor height with stand: 17 1ቬ"Monitor height with no stand: 14 1Ǟ"I purchased this monitor mainly because I wanted to do a triple head setup with my two 19" LCDs. This monitor, to within a couple of mm, has the exact exact same height panel as they do, so the 3 can be lined up side-by-side and not look odd. |

Vivid colors on wholesome 24+ inch screen. I purchased a HDMI to HDMI cable to go straight to my video card and the image essentially shrunk from the image displayed from the HDMI to DVI cable it came with. I'm not impressed over that and changing setting makes no difference. I haven't had any complications with settings, lights, or something of the like. I'm advocate it to close friends. Sound isn't supper but come on guys...it is built in. If you want spectacular sound for your desktop then acquire a center for it. |

The feeling you get when you purchase a thing new! Thats the only pro. The monitor came in and had 1 stuck pixel. The pixel after 1 month was in a position to be massaged out. Phew correct? Incorrect! The monitor shortly following darkened in the corner the power supply is positioned. I filed a support ticket and they wanted about ษ-ฮ to ship it to California. (I live in GA) Now a year right after the darkening of the corner the monitor will act as if it goes into sleep mode as i'm gaming. The overall high quality of this item is trash. As properly as the warranty. I suggest playing with the old 1990's gameboy monitor rather than ANY Hanns-G monitor. At least you know that wont go out though you are in a tournament attempting to clutch. I was told that Hanns-G was the maker of the actual LCD screens that go into LG Television's. If thats the situation LG desires to re-assume the organization partnership they have with Hanns-G. The top quality of the goods really should succeed something else. Great luck generating dollars with ZERO repeat custoers and Terrible word of mouth. I myself will shy Every person away from buying a Hanns-G Item. |

2ms response time. Dual HDMI input with DVI to HDMI cable included makes for awesome flexibility. Big amount of true estate for the funds. Zero dead pixels. Great looking glossy bezel. Stand at least has vertical tilt at this cost point, can "aim" picture up or even down a small depending on viewing level Mediocre real globe contrast, only way to get the rated dynamic ratio is to use a waaay too bright, non-adjustable "Extra contrast" mode. Annoying noticeable humming noise whilst powered on from inexpensive CFL back lighting. Slow to display picture. When using with cable box (remember, it's dual HDMI for this use also) it will take a complete 4-5 seconds for picture to come back when changing channels. Awkward to adjust image settings, and so forth. with bottom mounted buttons. Has automobile HDMI switching but disabled it as it would switch my picture from Tv to laptop or computer before I was ready. Newegg rocks, I got this when it was on sale for 180 plus Newegg sent me a บ off any monitor coupon just for browsing their selection og monitors. Shipped rapid also! Anyway as far as the monitor itself, it certainly worth the cash at 200 bucks too. If you are taking time to read the evaluations, please read other people as well and see that the humming concern is happening to others too. As a pc monitor exactly where you are sitting closer, it will be even a lot more noticeable. Nonetheless I highly suggest this if you are on a price range. Specifically makes for very good price range bedroom or workplace HDTV with cable or satellite box. Proposed settings: Brightness: 20-35, Contrast: 85-100, the rest defaults. |

Compared to my approx 9 year old 19" Sony LCD Display this monitor is was an exceptional obtain. I was not prepared for how massive it in fact is when I opened the box. For the 赔 and free of charge shipping I got the monitor for, I rate it an A++++. It also has a fantastic image and vibrant colors, and is contemporary styled. None actually... just a tad bit slow to turn on... possibly two-3 seconds... but that is nothing large. |

"Cheap" price tag, bright screen This is the second Hanns-G monitor to die on me in the final 2 months. The final one lasted a tiny more than a year ahead of it black-screened. This one died right after three months and I've decided that Warranty function is not worth the hassle. This one gave off a weird smell and then went to a white screen. I've read testimonials about negative power boards in these monitors which would correspond with my difficulties. I've performed my time with this organization. I suggest a quite skeptical "caveat emptor" with this brand of monitors. I'll list these as "if it looks to fantastic to be true, it almost certainly is"... |

Price My unit has a extremely high pitched squeal and I can\'t get in touch with any person from Hanns-G. I bought four of these monitors back in February of 2010. 1 of the units recently started emitting a PIERCING squeal from the back. I can get temporary relief if I power off the unit for a moment. Nevertheless, as it gets warmer and warmer the squeal gets louder and louder. I would count on this from an older model, but not a unit that was bought 6 months ago. I was hopeful that I could get some kind of resolution from Hanns-G, since there had been some positive feedback on Hanns-G assistance on Newegg. Thus, I tried contacted Hanns-G through e-mail and phone. My e mail gets no response, and when I get directed to customer service or assistance, the phone just continually rings. Extremely disapointed in the monitor and Hanns-G. |

Crisp and clear display. 24.6" size makes 1920x1080 gaming a excellent encounter. Not truly considerably else to say, it's a good monitor for the price. None I have found in the year I have owned it. I didn't consider it would be larger, or even as big, as my lovely 24" LG Monitor, but the ".6" component of the 24" wasn't posted in the title of the monitor when I purchased it. Just believed it was funny how it was larger than the monitor I spent more than 跌 on.Had this thing for more than a year and I use it for my wife's computer system. She likes to stick things about the monitor and clumsily moves points around. This monitor was apparently able to withstand her "gentle" touch with no troubles whatsoever. |

When I set my video card to 1080p, the monitor shows acuurate, dot-by-dot resolution with no black bars whatsoever. Every final pixel is filled accurately. I see no dead pixels (however out of 2 million they could be tricky to locate) and movies and games appear great on this issue! The only challenge is that my personal computer is running slow due to the impressive good quality of the image (gotta get a new video card)! Some folks complain about the menu getting hard to use, but it genuinely isn't disabling. It's a small annoying but not to the point where you want to give up. I have tried it with the supplied DVI-HDMI cable and a inexpensive HDMI-HDMI cable of my own. Both appear just as very good.It actually provides me a lot more workspace outside of games. Such high resolution and suddenly a webpage at 100% takes up only 1Ǚ of the screen. It doesn't appear like it supports audio by means of an HDMI cable (even with each ends becoming HDMI). When I try to pick HDMI as the audio output device, it won't let me because it says "not plugged in". On the other hand that's on the laptop or computer finish and I've had the difficulty intermittently just before. Maintain in mind this is the very first day I've had it; I will be sure to update it if some thing about the monitor adjustments my thoughts. |

price, size, dual HDMI's. So far I'm loving this monitor even if it did come with 1 dead pixel. Fortunately, it's way more than on the left hand side of the screen so it's not actually noticable. Games play nice, no page flipping. The stand is kind of low cost and like absolutely everyone else I am concerned with longevity. I'm employing this monitor on a method that's devoted for gaming only, so I don't use it on a day-to-day basis. I'm hoping this will help the monitor last a whilst. I got this throughout 1 of Newegg's fantastic sales and only paid 赉 for it. Only after obtaining it did I read all the negative critiques about the backlight going negative within the initially year. I've purchased other Hanns-G monitors for shoppers and in no way had any difficulties with them, so I'm hoping they had a bad run on these and the 1 I have will operate a nice lengthy time. I could be re-writing this evaluation in a few months. Most likely a great thought to keep the box in case you have to take benefit of the warranty. |

Price tag & Size Display headed south and no response has come from Manufacturer. On 11ቴብ I bought the HH251 and my boss was incredibly pleased when it arrived and we installed it on her desk. On June two, 2010, I was informed by my supervisor that there was a dark region about 4 Ɣ) inches across in the lower suitable hand corner of the display. I sent an e mail to the HannsG client service at that time. A month later the darkened area had grown to 6 inches in diameter. When once more I tried to make contact with HannsG consumer service and am nevertheless getting ignored. We have a smaller HannsG monitor in our office which has offered us excellant service and that was one particular of the swaying factors in the buy of the HH251. I've had it for about 8 months now and it's nonetheless working flawlessly. No dead pixels, even backlighting, low response time. It's about ฮ dollars more affordable now than when I purchased it which makes it an absolute outstanding deal. As with most monitors, looking at it from below tends to make the image rather a bit darker. I can't slouch in my chair as substantially as I utilized to but I guess I shouldn't do that anyway. I believe the only cable I've utilized is the included DVI-HDMI cable so I can't comment on VGA or something. I've dragged this issue to a couple LAN parties and it's been through a couple moves and it's still good. I truly ended up tipping it over onto it's face though driving but that nonetheless didn't mess up the panel (although it does have a couple smaller scratches). My idiot coworker also dropped a unique LCD monitor on leading of it although I was using it causing it to fall forward onto my keyboard but that didn't harm it at all. General appears to be a really robust monitor. Will get once again if I ever need another monitor. |

The display is lovely. I was very impressed the moment I set it up. The colors are brilliant. It's wonderful to have so significantly space to open numerous windows and multi-task. I think it's the ideal size for a single monitor remedy. Something larger would be overkill for an average user, and the costs begin shooting up. The colors seem to adjust depending on the angle you view the monitor from. I don't know if this is common for significant monitors. It appears that the sheer size of it makes it prone to this challenge due to the fact there is no way to view every portion of the the monitor head-on without having moving your head considerably. So parts of the display (the ones at the greatest angle from head-on) are going to show colors differently. Also the stand is not that fantastic but I was in a position to pull the stand of my old lcd monitor and attach it to this one particular. The old stand I had is much much better for adjustment of height and angle. I would definitely recommend this monitor. Excellent deal for the cost. |

Cheap, was fantastic even though it lasted. Nevertheless expense less than a buck a day for what I got out of it. Not the greatest clarity. I am awaiting customer service response from Hanns-G and will report back right here after the process is complete. Based on other evaluations of dealing with HG tech assistance I am not looking forward to this. I guess in the long run I am getting what I paid for.
