When the monitor is working, almost everything appears to perform pretty nicely. It was a superior cost for the size of the monitor. Immediately after about two months the monitor stopped showing anything regardless of what input I used. I had to pay one-way shipping which was over a hundred bucks given that I trashed the box. Soon after I got the monitor back the warranty seal was broken. Then after about 5 months the monitor starting having a comparable issue. Now I have a monitor that doesn't work and I can't get it repaired. Hanns-G is pretty terrible when it comes to repairing negative goods. You have to pay for shipping which is expensive for monitors. If you acquire this product make confident you keep all the packaging.

I just purchased two of these to use with an old acer AL2216W. Ive got them setup as a wall of monitors as I perform from household carrying out linux administration and so far I have few complaints. Low cost monitor with fantastic excellent. I have had no issues at all. Speakers are not really excellent but you shouldn't anticipate speakers built into a monitor to be incredibly good anyway. Nice size for a personal computer monitor Wrong resolution. 1920x1200 is the suitable resolution for a personal computer monitor. This is not a Television. When will monitor makers get a clue and stop with the Tv resolution monitors? 16x10 is the appropriate aspect ratio for computers. Any much less and you loose valuable operating space.

Good display, looks superior, super clear picture, plays HD games fantastically, overall a lovely factor to appear at. Also, 2 HDMI ports, yay! When I got this monitor on 8ቶ i was super excited for it. I tore open the package, ran to Greatest Purchase and bought an HDMI-HDMI cable, and speed household to begin playing. Even though I was at the store the monitor was running for about an hour. So I plug the HDMI cable in and do a typical monitor check for scratches and such. Then I proceeded to do a pixel check and located a bright blue stuck pixel on the upper left hand corner of the screen. It would not be there if you left the monitor cool down for about an hour and then turn it back on. As soon as the monitor heated up, when once more it reappeared. The next day I noticed a different pixel, a white 1 in the middle of the screen. Has been a sad couple of days for me and so I contacted Newegg and they agreed to replace it at no price to me. they even paid for the shipping. Therefore I have to give this item three eggs due to how picky I am about visuals like this. Newegg service was good.

Large, inexpensive, quickly refresh. Low high quality colors. Compared side-by-side with an older monitor, has incredibly poor contrast (yes, I adjusted the settings).The worst component is that immediately after not acquiring signal (i.e., the pc goes into standby), the monitor will not wake up. You have to power cycle it. A few weeks immediately after acquiring it it seemed like the computer was just slow coming back (it would at some point wake up), but now it won't come back at all. Some other posters report getting to truly pull the power cord...I hope that's not in my future. Due to the fact the problem doesn't show up appropriate away, I do NOT recommend this product due to the short warranty replacement period. Not a great buy. Newegg need to pull this item till high quality improves.

Good color high quality, blacks appear good. Using in the living room as portion of a HTPC setup. Definitely bright. Came with all the correct cabling for all the connections. Nearly too bright. This, of course, is adjustable. Bezel is inexpensive, theres a Windows Vista sticker on it. Very advised, been operating quite substantially 24hrs/day for a month and it's excellent.

Good, lovely display. Displays video crisply and beautifully. Installed quickly, and is good as a key monitor. The monitor has a weird concern only in Windows (doesn't replicate in Linux) exactly where it goes black for about two-3 seconds when going in and out of full-screen video. Also, the auto color/brightness adjust isn't the smartest out there. So I just set mine to a setting and left it. The buttons underneath take some finding employed to.

The brightness, contrast, and sharpness are overall fairly great. The price is appealing, despite the fact that I think based on the overall excellent it need to be a bit less costly yet. You have to be directly in front of the monitor to get the best brightness. Angled viewing causes fading and the widescreen makes that take place less difficult. I purchased two of these monitors, and each of them have a problem in that there are faded semi-circular places at the leading and bottom of the screen only on the suitable ӭǙ portion of the screen. I believe it could be due to warped screen shape in the manufacturing rather than the pixels themselves simply because if I move toward the correct side it appears to turn out to be significantly much less obvious.One of the two monitors came with a bad DVI/HDMI cable that I had to replace. The bad cable caused red pixels to flash either in single spots, lines, or over the complete screen. I haven't tried the speakers due to the fact I use external speakers on a sound card. I haven't had the problems with either monitor waking up from sleep. There may well be motherboard or video card settings or compatibility problems for individuals with that challenge. I have these monitors in clone mode on my older computer, which has a GeForce 6800 Ultra video card with an ASUS P4P800 SE motherboard.Personally, I will not obtain HANNS-G once again unless they can make some very good improvements to quality. HannsG makes a price helpful monitor.The panel itself is decent.Backlighting, for me, as never ever failed. My HG281D (which is not this 1) has broken on me 3 times in the last 18 months, I'm presently working on RMA š which is garbage.What happened to it:First: DDC failed so HDMI and monitor information wouldn't get reported to the OS (making HDMI useless, and VGA nearly useless.)Second: Monitor itself failed, appeared to have gotten stuck in a diagnostic mode even immediately after power cycle.Third: HDMI port is created with really cheep plastic and started falling apart right after extremely little swapping. So if you're thinking about obtaining this monitor, don't be cheep and get something good. I'm willing to be the odds are that you're going to have to RMA a HannsG monitor at least when.I extremely discourage any patronage to HannsG due to their lack of excellent in all their components and their disregard for customer satisfaction. Had this 1 just a small over a year now. No dead pixels (best way to check is to alter screen saver to "blank" then appear extremely closely). No "white screen" complications. Very good viewing angle (really shouldn't be searching at it at an angle anyway if sitting proper in front of it. Present cost (unless it's on sale again). I've had about five Hanns-G monitors now, varying in size. I've only had 1 with an annoying, white, dead pixel in the center. Visible in most low-light games or dark wallpapers. Overall, price and quality together, really worth it. I'll only acquire Hanns-G from now on unless another, less expensive competitor steps in (then I'll give them a opportunity as nicely).

It's practically 25 inches, has Dual HDMI and audio plugs. Tinny speakers (not a big deal for me), viewing angle may possibly not work out for you. I use this for gaming, web browsing and movies. I also have a PS3 hooked up to it. I just change the input and instantly switch back and forth in between the two. Superior picture excellent, not the ideal but definitely acceptable for the price. I managed to get this when it was on sale for about 赊 with free shipping in late January. My only real complaint is that the vertical viewing angle is not as very good as I had hoped.

I had a difficult time deciding if I was going to get this one or some thing comparable, and ultimately made the option to acquire this; and it was undoubtedly a worthwhile investment! The screen is wonderful, massive, and HD looks stunning! Plus, the HDMI to DVI was included, which was fantastic for me. No cons at all. Undoubtedly worth the buy! Wonderful cost for a 25" LCD, specifically with HDMI. As others have reported, immediately after about 2 months there has been somedarkening on the perfect side of the screen, which is slightly noticeable ona bright screen, but you don't notice it viewing images & movies. Overall I'm extremely pleased with the monitor so far and would possibly acquire once more. You just can't beat Newegg for locating the ideal deals onelectronics and for prompt delivery.

Well i ordered this monitor about three months ago. It was on sale for a cost I couldn't pass up. I bought it in contemplation of my new rig. Just received my new rig and hooked this monitor up to it. Beautiful.... My price was a little far better then the one suitable now but u can't go wrong with this monitor. Base is a little flimsy but i have a solid desk. So no issues here. None at this time Newegg is the finest. The shipped the monitor and i got it in 2 days. There no joke. Adore'em....

they used an outstanding panel in this. I dont know what type it is but it does have extremely very good off axis viewing angles. Style is standard but nice in its own way. The provision of dvi, hdmi and and vga assure anyone that they can hook this up to their pc supplying they have a driver for it. Design does have its flaws although; Shiny exterior will smudge if you consistently fiddle with the controls, which are inconviently situated on the bottom of monitor with tiny labels indicating what button is which. Also, shiny exterior is a dust magnet. Purchased this for a graphical designer who required a new computer and monitor. Was incredibly pleased with his newfound real estate

Screen size / $ is near unbeatable. The colors are clean, crisp, and there is quite small bleed. The monitor stand is sturdy, and the height is at a nice level my desk. Two stuck pixels, 1 red and one green, both at the extremely really bottom of the screen nonetheless, so I didn't bother RMA'ing it. Also, the buttons are not very nicely marked, and it isn't exactly intuitive which 1 does what. This leads to some frustrating setting adjustments.
