Got this "tech station" recently, just to make parts-swapping easier, when working on computers with hardware related problems, and I'm quite liking it!Good things about this item:- Very well thought out product, i.e. everything is laid out as it should be, and all the parts fit well,- Excellent step-by-step assembly instructions,- The whole thing is very sturdy when assembled, especially the thick shelves, stiff hard drive rails, & the good sized, grippy rubber feet.Bad things:- It's a bit nit-picky, but the supposed anti-slip neoprene rubber pad, for the bottom shelf(for PSU & optical drive), actually slides around a bit, even after wiping with a wet rag, but a couple strips of double-sided tape fixed that quite nicely.This thing fits common ATX & mATX motherboards very well, but if you need to work on E-ATX boards, the larger version of this would be the way to go. I highly recommend this item if you need to swap parts a lot. |

This platform is great if you need constant access to your rig. I grew tired of hauling my case out, pulling panels off and reaching in to swap components. It is a compact unit so it does not take up much space. It is quite sturdy but I still would not want to drop it. You can order replacement parts from the manufacturer. The assembly instructions are excellent. |

It is surprisingly small. Now that I have one it will be the only case I'll ever use for my "main" PC. Swapping components is a joy and extremely easy. All in all, I had 8 fans before I got this (CPU, graphic card, PS and 5 case fan). Now I only have 3. I did not even use the "side" fan included in the assembly, I think it's overkill. Heat is leaving the case so easily now. The only drawback is the quality of some of the parts. For exemple, the HD rails are made of some kind of plexiglass and I heard a "crack" while I was screwing them to the case. They're still holding fine but I won't be unscrewing them anytime soon. And forget this is you have kids. Recommended |

...............i just received one of these and assembled my Gaming platform on it. Now I'm wondering why the heck i went 15 years without one !! I've got half a dozen cases and there are none that can compare with this. Noise? what noise - there are no case fans to make a noise. Dust? In a case your case fans pull dust in. Throw a dust sheet over this platform when you are not using it if you are the paranoid type or have a dirty house. And did i mention heat? No more heat problems. The cpu and graphics and northbridge now radiate their heat straight up to the ceiling, not into a case to be recirculated and exhausted by noisy case fans.I'm always fussing with my computers. With this easily moved platform i don't wreck my back or spend time digging through and arranging cables. Just reach an arm over and you can do anything. And if you've payed for flashy looking components you can see them working for you all the time. My cpu cooling tower and dual fanned graphics card now make me grin every time i walk past the system.My only problem now is my Gamer don't want to leave this platform. So i gotta buy more of them. And sell some cases.The only downer i can think of is for people who have kids. |
I needed something for the shop to test computer hardware, I researched online and found this tech station by Highspeed PC , I heard nothing but great reviews. Can wait untill it gets here
