Best bang for your buck. I use this card in conjunction with a 32 foot usb cable to connect from my room to the kitchen. The magnet is an added luxury, I have the antenna proped right onto my refrigerator door. If distance is an issue I would strongly recommend spending the extra ten dollars for the 5dbi antenna. I am connecting to a wireless G router five apartments down with a 85% signal strength with all doors and windows shut. Install was simple, if the disk doesn't work with your system just go to the web site listed on the box and download the latest driver. Worked great with windows 7 (x64). |

well i use a router that is a far distance and I am not the admin so although i get the local only issue on occasion idk that it's the cards fault, i was having issues before with the laptop i was using prior.. and it barely connected aswell does this one.. although claims five bars.. seems that when i drop to four bars i loose connection to my router.. like i said i had trouble with a built in wireless card on my laptop that had otherwize worked well. may be the at&t router or the distance ... |

did not boost signal better than my laptop but did get wifi connections from my basement window. using on an old dell desktop. drivers loaded easily.only thing bad is the width.hard to plug side by side on laptop. |
have purchased other USB wireless before. This one beats them all for distance and signal strength. Bought two of these now ! use one in a repair garage hundreds of feet from the router to look up repair info.
