This is a great tiny case. The styling is excellent, the construction is great, the high quality is good. There is area for 2 internal tough disks if one particular of them is low profile, or an SSD. I paired this case with a Gigabyte H55 ITX board, an i3-530, a 500GB disk, and a 60GB SSD, and the machine seriously screams! It would be good if it had an exposed 3.5" slot for a multi flash reader, or at least a USB SD slot someplace. The blue energy LED is WAAAAY too bright. I added a resistor in series to knock it down a bit. The case fan is apparently not variable, so it makes a tiny more noise than I'd like. I took an egg off simply because it does not come with an 80Plus Bronze or greater energy provide. For the price, it's fantastic. I'd enjoy to pay more for a version that has an 80Plus Bronze/EPA five. energy provide and an SD reader.

It WAS and I anxiety WAS low cost. I'm so mad I'm going to purchase what I have in my cart Suitable NOW from a distinct organization. PSU is dead immediately after less than a month of run time and extremely Incredibly light use in that time. It's connected to a line situations UPS too. Commit much more cash and get some thing of excellent. Since it is more than 30 days old NewEgg only suggests to make contact with the vendor. I'm considering I've created a single of my final Newegg purchases! They appear to be a mere shell of their former company selves (get it?) Very good construction, three sata and 1 molex connectors. If your inventive, three HD's can match for a NAS box. Even though a single has to be an .8 height drive, most likely 500G. 80MM case fan is noisy. Attempting to believe of some filter options to quiet the air noise. Operates wonderfully with the Gigabyte mini-ITX board I purchased with it.

Case is great, no difficulty at all. I have a passively cooled processor, so I'm relying on the case alone for cooling. Keeps every thing (hard drive, processor, case temp.) below 39 - 40 degrees C.Very, looks good, can either be set up vertically or horizontally with included rubber foot pads. Almost everything is tight and sturdy. Small, quiet, no glaring difficulties. three SATA power headers. Appears decent. Lots of space for passively cooled board, specially above the mb. Holds 1 five.25 and 2 three.5 hdd's. Quiet. Power light is really vibrant (may be a pro for some). Good case for the price tag. Working with with D510MO, no problems with match.

Excellent size energy provide. Sturdy case. Nice appear. Stupid placement of USB connectors vs headphone and mic. jacks. Blue LED is way as well vibrant. If you want to get rid of the PSU fan you can get rid of the PSU and fit a Dell DA-two module in right here and use a PICO DC-DC. A small shaving off the edges of the DA-two and you can close the cover no difficulty.Scythe Big Shuriken fan on a Gigabyte GA-HA55N-USB3 will conflict with the the DVD drive. Had to trim off some fins. Ugly but it performs.

It's cheap and so far quiet I've built at least 12 Mini ITX systems and this is the worse case I've used therefore far. I needed a case big sufficient for the stock AMD heat sync but this is just Huge compared to other mini's I've built and could effortlessly be 1Ǚ smaller. You have to adhere to the directions, install HD 1st, then mobo, then optical drive. The front panel feels quite low-cost and the lights are some crazy amber color even although the panel is blue (minor really) In the finish, this was a expense successful resolution thinking about it will be in a basement workplace. I couldn't see it as a media center box, it's just too large and ugly compared to the other choices obtainable on NewEgg. NewEgg appears to nonetheless have the best selection of MiniITX situations. Case performs great for Intel Atom boards. Comes with 200 watt energy provide, and extra screws. None The power supply tends to make a ringing sound when the computer is off, its not noticeable in a desk hutch and is not loud. The frame for the tough drive and optical drive is challenging to get back in as soon as the drives are secured into the frame. The optical drives appears to cover over the screws in the bottom of the frame that are needed to safe it in location.

Nice and small form factor, was my first Itx build. Im used to full sized newer atx cases with a bit of space in the back of the MB for routing cables. But managed to tuck and route some cables around and underneath the 5.25"/3.5" tray.

Affordable ITX case, straightforward to perform with internal layout, good structural create excellent. - 80 mm case fan is low-cost and noticeably audible- No fan mount holes for fans on side vents, but the grill pattern on the vents does permit for you to mount fans as regular. Though they might end up a bit off centered.- blue power LED is also bright, light diffusing plastic need to of been utilized right here rather of clear. But you can usually not connect the energy LED connector i guess. Over all not the ideal ITX case but it gets the job done for it's cost. Case works ideal in a desktop configuration laying flat and not standing up like a tower. The style tends to make it too best heavy to use reliably as a tower, not to mention ventilation concerns when employed as a tower.Final Note: This case appears to be manufactured in Taiwan

Small case with a 200 watt energy provide. Easy to install motherboard. Has area for one particular complete sized challenging drive and a slim 3.five or a two.five inch one. Energy Provide makes a buzzing sound that is barley noticeable when plugged in and not powered up. This noise is not even herd if it is place in the hutch on a desk. The sound is steady and does not enhance or reduce with usage. Also when putting cables most have to placed underneath the hard drive/optical drive holder which can be removed. Wires from the front have to be run underneath this if u want them to reach, as soon as underneath they may well touch the tough drive. When putting the hard drive/ optical drive holder one screw will be difficult to get at to secure it so i recommend making use of a extended screw driver. It is also tricky to tighten the screw securing the optical drive the moment in due to the correct side of the case, it is attainable but takes a little patience, also the opening on the situation is larger than the optical drives face plate so when tightening it be positive to examine the front to try and center it or you will have a huge gap on one particular side. As talked about before a excellent situation except for the buzzing sound despite the fact that it be quiet. Temperature are incredibly cool but that is also since i utilized a Atom 330 board.Develop Specs: Intel BOXD945GCLF2D Atom 330 Motherboard WD 80GB SATA 3.0GBs Lite-On IDE DVD Duper Multi Burner Super Talent 1GB DDR2 667 RAM with Heat Spreader

Nice Little Case, managed to place a H57 chipset board, two x 2gb of DDr 3 Ram and a I3릪 in the exact same case. Just slams at HD playback. Managed to run 1080p mkv's playback at 6% usage on both cores. On board GPU just smokes. I wouldn't reccomend it for gamming. I want to place Training wheels on it.. it's small to operate with and the temps are not to be preferred.... but it's to be expected with a M ITX case.... nonetheless just slams for what it is... Nice little situation.... built a HTPC for a couple of buddies with this. did a lappy Challenging drive for the OS eventually and a 1 tb for storage. Such a smaller situation that it's just enough for the typical user (if you have the appropriate individual set it up for them) Z:-D

Has two three.five" drive bays (one is only suitable for low profile drives, e.g. an SSD or laptop drive with a bracket) and a typical five.25" drive bay, which indicates you won't need to buy an pricey SlimLine optical drive. Fans are incredibly loud. If you plan on working with it as an HTPC and leaving it on all the time, you *will* notice the fan noise when not watching video. I tried putting it to sleep when not in use (to silence the fans) but it kept waking up for motives I have but to fathom (I'm employing Windows Media Center with Windows 7 64-bit). I'm trading this situation in for a Silverstone SG06-B (another Mini-ITX situation), which is reported to have "silent" fans. About three instances the price but hopefully worth it contemplating my desire for a quiet HTPC.

It's incredibly properly built. Fits the Zotac GF8220-C-E incredibly well. Power provide fan is incredibly quiet; the stock CPU cooler was louder than it. Sufficient room for a DVD and three.five" HD. Blue power light on front isn't too vivid, but the orange HDD could be a bit brighter. Power supply cables are extended adequate. Came with one SATA power and one particular 4 pin power connectors. Examine your DVD drive depth. Could be a issue with some motherboards. Mine was brief and barely fit, I can see where the old longer drivers could cover up some motherboard connections. HDD mounts sideways. You might will need a 90 degree cable given that it's correct at the side cover. Front cover is challenging to get off and the bottom plastic pieces can break really simply if you aren't careful. I had to get a flat screwdriver to pry up on them so I wouldn't break them. This was my initial mini-ITX construct and I would certainly purchase this case once more. I used an AMD Sempron 140 with stock cooler, Zotac mobo and 2gb of ram to construct this for my Dad. It's low power and quickly processor is perfect for what he'll use it for. Very pleased with how everything went together.

Excellent seeking case, reminds me of a little server. A lot of space in the case for cable routing and airflow. The case fan is definitely a tiny loud to be utilised as an HTPC, but not horribly loud. I ordered 4 of these situations, and one particular had an concern with the energy provide case rubbing the energy supply fan. I bent it out a bit with a screwdriver and it worked fine. I bought this case to replace a custom built mini-ITX case. I went with this 1 given that it allowed me to use my old 3.five" drives. It seems to be a great case for my needs, but if you do not will need to use a three.5" drive, there are other smaller alternatives that use 2.5" drives and slimline optical drives.

* Good build high quality * Effectively created * Everything fit in it* Big air vent on the side for the CPU and a tiny vent and fan on the top for cooling the drives. I had to drill a grid of holes in the bottom of the case to present the ATI Radon 4650 with adequate air flow to remain cool, mainly because the card was just about 1ǚ of an inch from the bottom of the case. This was a logical spot for a vent and the case really should have already had a vent there. Inexpensive, mini-ITX form elementMy neighbor and I utilised this case to assemble a HTPC. We had an simple time fitting anything. The screw holes all lined up. The front (plastic) cover easily popped off and on. The cords all reached. The included PSU and case fan weren't too loud.My wife liked the case for sitting up next to the T.V. It didn't come with any directions. That probably isn't a large deal for most veteran laptop builders. I think I would have had a quite challenging time figuring every thing out with out my neighbor's support. As it is, I am convinced with hooked up the front speaker port incorrectly.

tends to make a fantastic mini technique/htpc. a lot of space inside, uncomplicated to configure, and appears to have sufficient ventilation to keep almost everything good and cool. set this case up with the gigabyte h55n-usb3, Intel I3 560, WD Black 1tb hdd, 4 Gigs of corsair ram, and a super-multi dvd drive. tends to make an brilliant HTPC case, specially for โ. the screws that hold in the challenging disk/optical drive bracket are smaller and easy to strip the heads off of, specifically if you have to pull the bracket out various occasions. be careful with them. you have to assemble this case in the appropriate order or its a pain. pull out the hdd/odd bracket, install mobo back plate, install mobo, connect all wiring to mobo, mount hdd in bracket, reinstall hdd/odd bracket in case, install ram, slide odd in front of case and secure it, connect wiring to hdd and odd, and lastly tidy up the wiring and close it up.

Solid construct - This case can stand some knocks with no dents.PSU is robust and cool.Just appropriate quantity of room. Best fit for my Gigab* ITX 1156 mobo, i3 w/stock fan, WD Black HDD, Blu Ray drive and two sticks of RAM. There is plenty of room for a video card. The power LED is vibrant, but I like that since I can see my remote in the dark. PSU fan is not loud, but not quiet. It's about 1ǚ the noise level of a older Xbox 360 and 1ǘ the loudness of my projector, so it seriously doesn't matter to me.The internal fan is somewhat louder than the PSU fan, but I don't want it so I disabled it. This is the case you want for an HTPC.

small, quiet, outstanding design for a server case. it has space for 2 HDDS, except 1 is not a full size 3.5 inch drive. This is a amjor issue because you want to purchase a unique drive to fit in the space, or do what I did, and use the CD portion, only one screw hole lines up, but that's absolutely nothing a drill wont fix actual simple, except, now you can't have an optical drive, no large deal.PSU fan is right on the heatsink for the motherboard I got. Not certain how other boards are laid out compared to the 1 I got - Intel Atom D510 Intel NM10 Mini ITX - but that's a slight dilemma, possibly rotate the psu 90 degrees and put some vents in the leading of the case for it.Lots of added wires on the PSU for parts that would by no means go in there. someone mentioned something about the LED getting extra bright, my LED is off which is fine, since I don't need it.the case fan appears to run at 100% speed if the computer is started proper when power is returned, but if it's just shutdown/restarted, it runs fine.
