IOGEAR GCS22u 2-Port USB KVM Switch w/built in cable
Cons: On my Dell 24" monitor (1920x1200 resolution) I could see flickering in the top 10% of the screen.

Pros: Small, easy to setup. Generally seems to work as advertised.
Comment:
A nice little USB KVM switch with an external button to switch between two PCs. It doesn't do audio, but I didn't need that anyways. It doesn't support a keyboard combination to switch between PCs, like the StarTech KVM switches do. My main problem was that on my 1920x1200 resolution 24" monitor I saw flickering in the top part of the screen, so I had to return it.

Works As Advertised
Comment:
Instead of VGA would have preferred HDMI.

Good value
Comment:
Setup was quick and easy, and it works as promised. There is typically a couple of seconds of delay while switching occurs and you're waiting for the keyboard and mouse to become active again, but it's acceptable unless you doing A LOT of switching.

This is great! Piece of pie to set up and works like a charm. Price wasn't bad either.

Works no problem
Comment:
This item works fine. I ended up buying a 2nd so I could control both monitors. I didn't see a double monitor switch offered. Again, it worked fine. Would recommend

does the job
Comment:
I got this switch 6 months back to switch my KVM between my home desktop (Dell running Vista) and a sunray thin client I connect to work with. On first connecting, it somehow reversed the video between the two on the switch, but has been fine since. The resolution settings do seem to get confused at times - a simple manual reset on the host fixes, not at all bad for the price.

Money well spent

Thanks to Iogear KVM, I now can share the monitor for my computers. The installation was seemless. It works perfect for my XP and Vista 64 bits. Great price for a cool product and I would recommend this to anyone.

Great for the price
Comment:
Not a fancy KVM but it works. Set up easy. Works with WinXP and Win7. Had it working with a MS wireless keyboard and mouse combo. I wish the cables were longer. I like the button switcher on a cable (there is no key combo switcher) so I can dump all the gear & connection cables behind my desk and only have the small button on top of my desk. For a cheap KVM I don't think you can do much better.

Very good value
Comment:
The product works great for me. I only use it to switch my keyboard and mouse combo between computers so I haven't used the monitor connection. My XP machine picks up the keyboard almost instantly, my Vista machine takes about 5 seconds to recognize it once switched over. My only complaint about the device itself would be a suggestion to have all of the cables and connections coming out of one side of the device. It won't sit flat on my desk. Overall a great product for the money.

Very pleased
Comment:
I half expected this thing to be garbage - $20 doesn't buy much. Instead, it works exactly as advertised, with few hitches. I have a work laptop and personal desktop in my home office. I split extend the laptop screen and switch to whole-screen on the desktop, which means I can still use both computers at the same time when I want to. My only nits are the speed at which it switches, which isn't fatal, just a little slow, and the resolution change which varies if I boot the machines out of order: if I do the laptop split in two, then switch to the desktop, resolution is perfect. Change that order and it's a trip to control panel to fix it. VERY minor, and again: $20? I can't be too picky. Oh - love the little button, to, but still which it had a softswitch as well. No biggie there either. I'd recommend.

Exceeded the Need
Comment:
I needed a remote KVM switcher and this product exceeded my expectation. I am switching my laptop and my desktop, not only was hookup a snap but worked perfectly, first time. Switch time about 1 second. Remote switch is a not robust if your a mega switcher. Great value for the dollar.

Works with Windows & Linux
Comment:
I use this to switch my Microsoft wireless keyboard/mouse combo and my second monitor between my Vista/Windows 7 system and my Linux system. Performs without any problems. I love the remote switch which sits neatly on the desk while the rest is hidden.

Great tool
Comment:
Very quick and easy to set up-saves space & $$ from having to purchase a second monitor & keyboard. Only downside is the switch on it is not robust enough-my first unit failed in 15 months. But for $20 it's worth it.

IOGEAR GCS22u 2-Port USB KVM Switch w/built in cable
Comment:
I have an XP and a mini-Mac, but only one of them would work. I switched the cables around, thinking something was wrong with that system, but what happened was the other system started working, and the original one wouldn't. IOGear said it's defective and to get an exchange. Getting an exchange from TigerDirect has been less than easy so far. Waiting now for 3 days for the RMA information ...
