Works fine
Comment:
Using it as a spare for a second computer running Dragon Naturally Speaking; and it's working fine. The inline volume control is a nice feature, too. Great product for the price. |

very good for the price
Comment:
This headset is very clear. people can hear me perfectly. the mic rattles where it attaches to the earpiece but its not much of a bother. im sure you can fix it with some glue to keep it from moving. i'd say its definitely worth the money. |

Simple and inexpensive

It's a pair of headphones with a mic. It worked. I still can't understand why anyone would pay $50 for something simple like this. $10 version works fine. |

Inland Lightweight Headset with Mic and Volume Control
Comment:
I'm an amateur radio operator and prefer a lightweight headset with foam earphones. Decent computer headsets with electret mics sometimes work fine for this task, but many are very cheaply built and some mics have amazingly poor frequency response, or have very short booms, or are very susceptible to ''breath pops'' as I speak. I gave this one a try, figuring $10 made it a cheap risk, and I was very pleasantly surprised. The microphone response is as good as any communication mic I own and the headset itself, while very light and comfortable, is quite substantially built. The boom for the mic has plenty of length and adjusts easily. I'd readily buy another except that this one doesn't look like it is going to break any time soon. |

This is a great product. It works nicely and can be easily used with Vista's voice recognition. It was worth the price, and it never has failed to work once. |

Inland Lightweight Headset with Mic and Volume Control

I had bought these in June 05 so I had them almost a year. I threw them away yesterday because one of the ear thingys broke off after they were being used on daily basis. The sound was great and I used them a couple of times for voice recording and voice chat. Everyone heard me just fine. Great product for the price. |

Works as advertised. No problems...idiot proof. Only thing I would change is to have a longer cord than 6 feet. |

Inland Lightweight Headset with Mic and Volume Control
Comment:
Not bad for the price. So far it has survived 3 months of use. It has an adjustable boom mic with the volume control but no microphone switch like other models (which I knew from the photos before buying). Mine was black instead of beige which was good. It also had a long cable. |
It is what it is: a $10 headset that works just fine. I use Ventrilo and Skype and for those purposes it does exactly what the box says it does. I wouldn't use it just to listen to music but that's not why I bought it. That being said, it plays music just fine, although it's a little bassy for my tastes. I also like the lightweight feature. Beware though, there is a sticker on the inside top of the headset and it catches and pulls on my hair. Be sure to remove it first. Otherwise a fine little product, which I bought based solely on the reviews here. I am not disappointed!
