Intel 320 Series SSDSA2CW120G310 2.5" MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)
Cons:None really.
Pros:Not the fastest, but still pretty fast.5 year warrantySimple effective software from Intel Comment:
I've been working with OCZ (Sandforce controller) and Kingston (Toshiba controller) and I have to say that the Intel has been super solid to date with no major firmware problems. It's not the fastest one out there, but a 5 year warranty is a vote of confidence. The Intel SSD software is also nice to have and works well. I installed this into a Lenovo X220 laptop and have no problems so far. |

Intel 320 Series SSDSA2CW120G310 2.5" MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)
Cons:none
Pros:Fast, cheap, stable Comment:
I installed this on a Mac Pro (2008).Instead of buying a special mounting kit for the MacPro's proprietary drive sled, I pushed the drive on to the motherboard connector and propped it up with a fat sharpie. The Mac has been running quickly since. |
Ordered this for a friend a while back, I believe for his notebook. He's had no problems since. If you have SATA3 though, you can benefit from the speed difference given from the 5xx series, if speed is your need.
