Cons:Lack of space but of course its coming slowly
Pros:No Lag,Super Fast loads10 second fresh start up with lots of games and programs on itNo moving partsQuietEfficientSturdy and High Quality Comment:
This is the best upgrade I have given myself in my new buildI got this for 180$ on boxing day salesIt simply does what it does out of the box, simply threw it into my CM Storm Stryker 2.5 inch mounting on the bottom, installed my windows 7 fresh on itStart up takes 10 secondsInstalling, loading programs and loading games (even in game) is just ridiculously fast. The storage on SSD's is still quite expensive thoughJust get this and put your games and other programs on thisKeep your movies and music and photos from your DSLR camera on a 1 - 2 TB WD HDDPerfect, done. This 520 INTEL series SSD is a pure winner. |

Intel 520 Series 240GB 2.5IN SSD MLC 25nm SATA3 Solid State Disk Flash Drive OEM
Cons:NONE!
Pros:reliable, reliable and reliable.quite fastgreat build qualityintel ssd tool is great addon Comment:
my sec intel ssd, after owning 330 series 240g. After having it for two month in my new build desktop, I finally did a full diagnostic (first 330 I did rt away, but now I trust intel ssd a lot). The interigty test failed on 62%. Without doubting about ssd issue, I put my 520 ssd into the same notebook which I passed test on 330. Test passed on 520 well. Yes, I trust intel ssd this much. And the intel tool lead me to find out my desktop memory issue. One of the four stick of memory is defective. That is cause of 520 test fail. After put in new set of memory, 520 test in my desktop passed as well.my 520 as ssd benchmark scores best as 780. It's very fast in a matching up system, with good cpu and board. on top of the speed, realiable always first. Intel doesn't fail that. My thumbs up. |

Intel 520 Series 240GB 2.5IN SSD MLC 25nm SATA3 Solid State Disk Flash Drive OEM
Cons:Issue with the X79 boards and Intel Rapid StorageIssue with monitoring programs like SSDlife being able to properly read correect running time.
Pros:Price on saleIntel 5 year warranty and reliability Comment:
Great SSD for the most part. Bench marks are in the normal range for this type of SSD.The only issue is with this SSD and Intel Rapid Storage on the X79 board. If IRS not updated to version 3.2 then S.M.A.R.T will not work on the SSD which renders part of Intel tool box not working. ALso causes other SSD monitos to not work at all. Also an issue with programs like SSDlife not properly recording the runtimes properly. E.G. mine shows a total run time 894835 hours (102.2 years. Know issue but unable to find a fix for it yet. |

Intel 520 Series 240GB 2.5IN SSD MLC 25nm SATA3 Solid State Disk Flash Drive OEM
Cons:price
Pros:Fast and works well - not a sandforce :) Comment:
You pay for quality and stability for the Intel 520 I bought this because I could not back up my OCZ Revo 2. The downloaded tool from Intel site works well for preventative maintence on the drive. Definitely will buy this again |

Intel 520 Series 240GB 2.5IN SSD MLC 25nm SATA3 Solid State Disk Flash Drive OEM
Cons:Price
Pros:Ultra fast, 5 year warranty Comment:
I replaced my X25 SSD with this and did notice an improved performance. |
OEM version comes in a small cardboard container basically with the drive and a small manual, no cables or adapters. If you haven't already gotten an SSD, you're missing out. They are incredibly fast compared to hard drives, especially vs a 5400RPM notebook drive.Intel name, 5 year warranty and fantastic speeds makes this one of the best SSD's out there.
