Intel Celeron E3300 2.5GHz LGA 775 65W Dual-Core Processor

It is not the fastest LGA775 CPU you can find but is more than capable to handle most tasks except serious gaming or video editing etc. Nevertheless it is a dual core cpu that comes with a very decent, quiet and compact cooler. If you want to build a bare-bone budget system then you should get this CPU while it is still available.

Good cpu for any basic computer, dual cores are basically a must nowadays so this fits in. Used in a build for my dad. Runs cool.

Got this for a setup for my dad, just as a basic home office computer. Running windows 7 and its very speedy, does a good job with anything you throw at it. Got it in a very nice bundle so it came at a low cost

I was impressed with this newer celeron chip. I guess these guys are nothing like there older little bros from the older generation. These are DUAL core chips, and things run much faster. You can easily build a cheap gaming rig with this that will play any game of today with ease, provided of course you match with an ok video card.

Great in my HTPC. Handles everything I throw at it very well: old games, youtube, etc. Not your typical Celeron

Bought this for my sister, she does word processing, music, and regular girl stuff. Works great for her. This processor is better than my Athlon x2 5600 that I bought three years ago.

This is basically a Pentium E5200 with half the cache - don't let the Celeron name fool you. It is the cheapest dual core you can buy, and should be fast enough for most users.

The speed and performance of the cpu is wonderful. The noise of the cpu fan however could drive someone insane. It goes constantly and very loudly.

Runs great at two point five GHz. However is easily overclocked to three point zero GHz on stock cooling. Heat has not been an issue at all. Games have no problems running, when linked up to a 9800 GTX. If on a budget and can not spare any money definately get this.

Bought this for a lil unit that will serve as a gateway. I was super impressed... very quick compared to what I thought it would be... dont let the celeron tag fool you... it is a decent lil cpu

This is a good product for the money. Performance is decent even for low to medium requirements multi-player games. It would be a bit slow for CAD, very high end number crunching, and video editing.

This review is to bring balance to the force, LOL. What kind of knucklehead gives a 1 star review because they buy a CPU that doesn't work on their motherboard? Let's see, whose fault is that?

I really can't give this a review. It wasn't compatable with my MB.

The proccesor performs as its priced. My one big gripe is that the CPU has a temp setting of like 36 degrees and that makes the heat sink fan run on high all the time which is somewhat loud. Next time I'll do some more research to be better informed of the specs.

In addition to the faster clock speed and increased cache compared to other Celeron DC processors, the E3x00 stablemates have VT-x (hardware virtualization) support, which makes this CPU a real find for those looking for a cheapie VM test box.
