Intel Celeron G1610 Dual Core Processor LGA1155 2.6GHZ Ivy Bridge 2MB Retail Box
Cons:None
Pros:Cheap, low power consumption Comment:
Bought this for a dedicated mining computer. Sips very little power and is sufficient for its intended usage. Could envision this as a CPU for an HTPC if needed. Definitely the highest performing CPU for the price. |

Intel Celeron G1610 Dual Core Processor LGA1155 2.6GHZ Ivy Bridge 2MB Retail Box
Cons:None
Pros:PriceSpeed Comment:
I was never a fan of Celeron CPU's. They were so slow. First time I bought one in dog years. I can't believe how fast this thing is. I bought a new system several months ago but didn't have a CPU yet, so I thought I would buy this until I could get the one I wanted, just to test the system. Great little CPU. New that Haswell is out, thinking of going this way instead. I will use this for a FreeNas system. |

Cons:None
Pros:Cheap! Cool, quiet, fast! Comment:
You cannot beat $45 for a dual core Ivy-Bridge CPU with built in Intel HD graphics... This thing is plenty quick for Media and storage control tasks, and stays cool and quiet. I've always been a Celeron fan |

Intel Celeron G1610 Dual Core Processor LGA1155 2.6GHZ Ivy Bridge 2MB Retail Box
Cons:none
Pros:Great price, Ivy bridge features Comment:
This is actually a really awesome little processor, it surprised me with it's capability. The on board graphics are amazingly sharp, plays HD videos perfectly. I paired a few of these with new m/bs and SSDs for my employers office and they can now multi-task like never before. Proof that you don't need a $200 processor to get amazing results. |

Intel Celeron G1610 Dual Core Processor LGA1155 2.6GHZ Ivy Bridge 2MB Retail Box
Cons:none except the limitations compared to more expensive parts but you know that coming in
Pros:ivy bridge better onboard gpu than older intel parts low power Comment:
got this for a cheap htpc setup paired with a cheap h61 board and 4gb of ram..very impressed dont notice any measurable difference from my old phenom 2 gaming system that was in its place except that its now quieter and uses way way less power even tried installing skyrim just for a kick and its actually completely playable at 720p with low settings other than that it handles 1080p video perfectly browses the web and plays FLAC music on my tv with no problems..exactly what i want it to do for 40 bucks you cant go wrong |
Great cpu. not for high end games or high end video editing but it will play blu-ray's just fine
