Cons:Small stuttering during on-the-fly transcoding.

Pros:Great for a budget desktop.Runs cool and quiet even on load.
Comment:
Built this for a home server, fast and a very affordable CPU for SOHO builds. Get it on sale, otherwise get an APU.

Intel Celeron G530 Dual Core Sandy Bridge Processor 2.4GHZ LGA1155 2MB Cache 65W Retail Box
Cons:can't overclock, integrated gpu is weak

Pros:cheap, fast, intel, dual core, sandy bridge, power effecient
Comment:
Other than not being able to overclock, this is a speedy little chip for the price. Paired with a mid to high end gpu will give you pretty good gameing results as well, better than most higher clocked AMD solutions out there.

Intel Celeron G530 Dual Core Sandy Bridge Processor 2.4GHZ LGA1155 2MB Cache 65W Retail Box
Cons:None

Pros:Economical dual corePrice
Comment:
This is the cheapest processor you can buy for the 1155 socket, but don't let that turn you away. I bought this for a HTPC and it does the job perfectly well. I'm using a video card in the build so can't comment on the integrated graphic processor in the chip. This thing has more power than high end dual core processors of only a few years ago and I paid $40 for it. I'm sure this cpu is perfectly suitable for most people's general computing.

Intel Celeron G530 Dual Core Sandy Bridge Processor 2.4GHZ LGA1155 2MB Cache 65W Retail Box
Cons:Not a quad core.

Pros:Surprisingly powerfulCheapRuns pretty cool
Comment:
The only thing I wish they did with this thing is create  a 4 core version. I originally got this to put into my friend's HTPC. Turned out to be easier just to get him WD TV live.I am using it now constantly and it's far more amazing than it seems to get credit for. Temp has not got past 53C. I've been using it for watching HD movies and playing games using only stock cooler plus two fans in the case hooked up to 5 Volt instead of 12 Volt (they are slower but also a whole lot quiter).I am an AMD guy normally, but this thing is far too awesome.

Intel Celeron G530 Dual Core Sandy Bridge Processor 2.4GHZ LGA1155 2MB Cache 65W Retail Box
Cons:None so far.

Pros:Sandy Bridge Core, dual core, price,
Comment:
I bought it after reading few reviews to replace my i3-2120 which I needed in another build. I am very impressed. The processor runs fast and cool. In Windows 7 performance index it scored the same (7.1) as the processor it replaced. It is certainly not a gaming chip, but for pretty well everything else it is a very good fit. On-chip video performance it offers beats any integrated on board video quite easily. Comes with a cooler. At sub $40 on sale you cannot go wrong.

Cons:None unless you want it to do more than it's supposed to

Pros:Excellent value
Comment:
Paired this with a Gigabyte H61M-S2H MB for a low budget HTPC build. On board HD graphics works great. Decided to select  this processor over AMD after reading lots of positive reviews. Met my expectations. Nice that Intel is offering a sub $50 processor that can be used for basic PC

Intel Celeron G530 Dual Core Sandy Bridge Processor 2.4GHZ LGA1155 2MB Cache 65W Retail Box
Cons:At this price point, none.

Pros:- Intel Sandy-Bridge architecture for $40, great value- Great budget CPU.
Comment:
Even though it is only a celeron, dual cores d 2.4Ghz, this processor is one of the best for the money. The sandy-bridge architecture is so good that that doesn't even matter.I would highly recommend this for all budget PC builders (over the Pentium line -- the difference is like 1MB of cache + 0.XGhz). A step up would be an i3-2XXX or higher.

Intel Celeron G530 Dual Core Sandy Bridge Processor 2.4GHZ LGA1155 2MB Cache 65W Retail Box
Cons:integrated hd graphics isn't great

Pros:dual core, low power, stock cooling works great
Comment:
this is the best budget CPU I have ever used, the price/performance is excellent. Using in a HTPC and it handles everything great. integrated hd graphics are great for movies, etc but doesn't work well for games. older basic games will play with low-medium settings. Considering the price the video is a non-issue really.

Intel Celeron G530 Dual Core Sandy Bridge Processor 2.4GHZ LGA1155 2MB Cache 65W Retail Box
Cons:None

Pros:Cheap, plenty fast for most purposes
Comment:
Intel doesn't have a lot of CPUs under $100, but despite it's price and the warning signs of it being a Celeron, it works wonderfully. I have it acting as a file server for our small company and it easily handles a 6-disk software RAID 10 under Linux. I can saturate the drives with barely any CPU usage. It also has on-die video which beats any on-board video and most cheap (sub $100) video cards. Even this low-end model will work fine for what most people need today and it works better than a similarly priced AMD processor. Considering the price, the performance is amazing. Unless you are gamer, this is a cheap upgrade from your 4 year old PC, and if you decide to upgrade to a better processor for gaming, the same motherboard will do just fine. Great deal!

Pros:Cheap Sandy Dual Core.
Comment:
I bought this thing to get my computer P8Z68/GEN3 ASUS board running in wait for Ivy Bridge. I was actually surprised at this processors performance being a celeron and all. Windows 7 boots quite quick and it rips through everyday stuff. Obviously this thing cant do squat for gaming but for the average web/email user its great.

Intel Celeron G530 Dual Core Sandy Bridge Processor 2.4GHZ LGA1155 2MB Cache 65W Retail Box
Cons:- not available at NCIX

Pros:-Excellent for the price-More processing than my parent's pc needs
Comment:
I purchased this at newegg.ca; took a week to ship; this should be offered at NCIX =(.I was considering a sandybridge i3's, pentiums and celerons for my parents computing needs. The celeron is blazing fast for the price (yah the pentiums and i3's are significantly faster but that's overkill for web browsing and basic usage).
