Intel Core i3 3225 Dual Core Hyperthreading Processor LGA1155 3.3GHZ Ivy Bridge 3MB Retail Box

Pros:-Intel CPU (you never go wrong with that)-Cheap-Works nicely Comment:
My uncle wanted a basic desktop for accessing Internet and playing cards games, so I got him one of those CPU when they were on sale (so got it for pretty cheap). It works as intended, so no complains ^^ |

Intel Core i3 3225 Dual Core Hyperthreading Processor LGA1155 3.3GHZ Ivy Bridge 3MB Retail Box
Cons:-- N/A --
Pros:Fast Enough for what I need Comment:
Good for multitasking, system doesnt hang, always jumpy and resumes quickly from shutdown or sleep. I think the CPU may have set my ram speed back but cannot prove such. |

Pros:Dual Core 3.3GHZ for $134.99HyperthreadingCool & EfficientHeatsink includedHD4000 graphics Comment:
Using this CPU for a family friend in a "home office" PC. It's very fast when paired with an SSD, feels just as fast as my 3770K for basic tasks. Included HD4000 are pretty decent for an iGPU. Runs very cool and quiet, I couldn't be happier with the i3-3225. |

Intel Core i3 3225 Dual Core Hyperthreading Processor LGA1155 3.3GHZ Ivy Bridge 3MB Retail Box
Cons:none
Pros:Very sharp Processor, Intel hd Graphics 4000 included, Very stable and Fast Comment:
Very Fast processor for the price ! And it's the same socket as I7 processor (lga1155) so it made it easier for upgrading in the future without changing the motherboard. I Ordered two of them and the system flies ! Run Windows 7 64 bits perfectly and most of decent games (at low settings). Good for those who want to build a cheap pc to surf the web and play various games (400$ for a build) |

Intel Core i3 3225 Dual Core Hyperthreading Processor LGA1155 3.3GHZ Ivy Bridge 3MB Retail Box
Cons:I still cannot get on board with the standard Intel heat sink, they build dust cakes way to fast. and once they do the air flow just spills over and is not forced in to the fins.
Pros:got it on sale, happy with the price=) Comment:
great bang for the buck, you can look at some tables on line that compare price to performance Vs. application, for my friends needs this delightful little CPU made it happen for the right price.Come to think of it hes just playing WoW so anything post abacus is a good enough processor. |

Intel Core i3 3225 Dual Core Hyperthreading Processor LGA1155 3.3GHZ Ivy Bridge 3MB Retail Box
Cons:- None
Pros:- Awesome performance for the price- Low power usage; high efficiency- Integrated Graphics aren't half bad- Runs cool with stock cooler Comment:
I used this CPU for a semi-budget build, and I have to say: paired with an SSD, this system flies. Feels almost as fast as my main desktop with an i5 3570k! For the price, you can't go wrong with this one...plus, it uses very little power and creates very little heat.Definitely would recommend if you don't want to pay extra for an i5/i7. i3's are plenty good for most people, especially when paired with an SSD for the OS drive. Intel Core i3 3225 Dual Core Hyperthreading Processor LGA1155 3.3GHZ Ivy Bridge 3MB Retail Box
Cons:Not much to complain about for the price of the CPU
Pros:Intel HD Graphics 4000Runs very cool and stable Comment:
Bought this for a HTPC build. Even for that, I think this CPU is a overkill. Watching 1080P movies on it, doesn't even peg 10% of the CPU. Runs super cool, quiet and very stable. Using Intel stock cooler and I barely hit the high 50's in temp. The CPU comes equipped with Intel HD Graphics 4000, which is a even more plus for the price of the CPU. There isn't much to complain about. |

Intel Core i3 3225 Dual Core Hyperthreading Processor LGA1155 3.3GHZ Ivy Bridge 3MB Retail Box
Cons:None
Pros:Low power usage; Upgraded Intel graphics; Low price Comment:
This is the perfect processor for an HTPC. Using the IVY bridge, and the upgraded graphics, there's no reason to get anything larger unless you want to do some gaming on the machine as well! |

Intel Core i3 3225 Dual Core Hyperthreading Processor LGA1155 3.3GHZ Ivy Bridge 3MB Retail Box
Cons:Came with a all aluminum heat sink fan, I reused the copper stock 2500k cooler on this.
Pros:cheap, low power consumption Comment:
I got this for a basic word processor, web browser computer for work. I know a bit of over kill but for 120$ why not, should last them for decades. |
I use this for a desktop, internet browsing, music server. Does the job, can just about do anything including backing the system up without any drop-offs in my audio-streaming. Paired with a SSD for great response time.
