Coupled with 16GB memory and a SSD, it runs a Photoshop build smoothly. This CPU has fair performance/price ratio. Too bad it has no overclocking.

Decent mid to high end CPU. Good for virtualization at a semi-reasonable price.Since AMD is not keeping pace with Intel on the performance front, don't really have that many options to pick from. This CPU is a decent middle ground.

I bought this to go with a setup I was putting together to replace a friends dead system. I was looking for a good balance between price/performance and this does not disappoint at all. Aside from not being able to O/C (which they're not going to do anyway) I can't find anything negative. IF you want a decent PC for gaming and don't want to break the bank give this a look.

I bought this for a budget pc-build and works beautifully with the system. It's really surprising that Intel(as well as ncix) have lowered the price on such a strong cpu. I definitely recommend this to anyone looking to buy a budget cpu that still has very strong performance. This will serve any web surfer and most gaming needs.

bought this along with a gigabyte board, 6850, and samsung 830. overall the system runs great and can handle any game my sister throws at it.

For a low tier I5, it really flies! Stock heatsink is ok but loading up 4 cores when testing with prime95, the cpu nearly hits max temps, but it wasn't throttling itself back-yet. Get an aftermarket replacement. Got bundled with a GA-Z77-HD3 mobo and the easytune software will tweak the bclock for you to get more speed out of it(if you dont want to mess around in the bios). Overall it is a really nice cpu and will turbo itself up to 3.6Ghz on its own.

This is a great CPU for ppl that don't plan to overclock. If you want to get better integrated GPU, get the 3570 CPU. I'm using a seperate GPU, so it doesn't bother me. This is great for muti-tasking.

This CPU is fast. It works. The stock cooler is an old design, and I wish Intel would drop  it's push-pin design. However, cooler is quiet.

This cpu is in the sweet price range of just under $200. I think it is the best bang for your buck that is on the market right now and it does not bottleneck my 660ti at all.

I inherited a Z68 motherboard and needed a CPU for it. I decided that I do not want to pay more than $200 for the CPU and this is what $200 bought me. Probably would have been smarter to buy a Core i3 and save some more money. I see no tangible difference between the PC with this CPU and my other PC with an older Sandy Bridge i3. Oh, well, it's a good choice, so why complain...

This processor is awesome. Out of the box you get wicked performance, and it only gets better. However the heatsink and fan included are poorly made, so I would highly recommend getting a better heatsink if you are going to overclock this.

love this processor its fast good graphic and doesn't overheat if your not over clocking. I don't like the heatsink that come with them always buy a aftermarket one for best results

This chip is fast. The 4 cores t 3.2GHz on an H77 board, benchmark faster than the 8-core AMD FX-8120 t 3.1GHz on an AM3+ 970/SB950.The only thing that would make this chip better/faster would be Hyper-threading.I did not test the stock CPU cooler, but it runs at only 30°C with a CoolerMaster V8.Absolutely best bang for your bucj whne it comes to Intel!

For current price there is no excuse not to buy the unlocked 3570k instead. Even if, like me, you weren't originally planning to overclock having the option to for the extra couple of dollars just makes sense. That being said, I have had no problems with this cpu.

Overall a really good and easy to use board for the price. Descent amount of features but lack accessories. Pretty good if you're looking for a solid reliable board.
